I bought a twelve string just to capture the idea I had for this song! There's no backing track! No line of effects pedals! No looper! Straight one shotted, straight acoustic! I wanted it to be driving and full of life because God has given us that as believers! He is strong and we are strong because of it!
The contest is to arrange "Amazing Grace" in the key of G on guitar. No vocals. Just instrumental. Person with most votes by February 11th gets a $4,500 guitar. I aimed to make this arrangement sound full. Others may use a line of effects pedals or a looper pedal or a backing track to get that sound, but I wanted to push myself and force myself how to discover that full sound by doing it all at the same time!
