The Model S is totally the best "business" looking vehicle. But also consider the Model X or Cybertruck because of the WEIGHT it can be written off as a business vehicle via Section 179.
I’m a long time Tesla driver! I had one of the first Tesla’s a 2014 Model S. As a V8 lover this Model S had the bust of power I love! When I purchased it I added the suspension, sun roof and got the pearl white. Back in 2014 we got free supercharging for life! Earlier this year Musk offered loyal Model S owners a transfer of free supercharging for life if we took possession by the end of March. So I did! I now have a 2024 Model S! So many differences in this new model. The suspension is already included, new cooling seat feature as well as heated seats for your passengers. Backseat display screen to manage your temperatures, media etc. This new Model S no longer has a sunroof option, but truth be told we rarely used it. I’m glad it still has the dashboard display, I use it all the time and love this feature. I use the large display for music, reading new updates, web sites, etc. This new Model S has ludicrous speed which I love, handles well, smooth drive and 405 mile range!!! My first 2014 Tesla only had 209 mile range, but it worked for me to get back and forth to work, which was a 75 mile round trip. I also got a 5 year free HOA lane pass that helped with my commute. I would agree with you that I miss the lack of knobs/buttons to adjust temperature, adjust mirrors, open glovebox and the turn signals, but I’m getting used to it. Love love love the new comfortable seats.
The model s is the most stylish looking one. The plaid speed is so fun. With the Full self driving, it’s the best for long range road trips. The battery range is very good.
lately, I am seeing MORE and MORE model S! The last supercharger I went to, I think i saw 6 Model S, and 4 other cars! Used Model S are becoming more affordable and they look almost like the latest ones!
I have a 2023 Model S LR and I can say it's an excellent vehicle that is extremely comfortable on long trips. I also think the refreshed Model S with the blacked out trim and lower stance makes its look almost like an Aston Martin from the rear with this hunkered down look. It has that high performance look, yet looks sharp and stylish. Sort of like a pro-athlete in a button-down suit. Performance wise its extremely fast and faster than most sports cars on the road that you'll encountering during everyday driving. I have the yoke steering wheel and initially thought it might be hard to get use to, especially during parking lot maneuvers. However, I've gotten use to it now and its main benefit is the clear line of sight you get when looking at the central dash display and I actually prefer the yoke now. The resistive turning signals and horn are still terrible whether you get the yoke or wheel. In the 2024 Model LR they started adding the central horn button where you can just mash the center the air bag in the steering wheel, so that is a big plus. Would I like a Plaid? Sure, but that's more about owning something that is top of the range of the S line. In practical everyday use I don't think the Plaid is any better than the Model S LR.
Right now, I am torn between the X and S. I would really like the space in the X, but I am having a hard time getting past the silly falcon wing doors. I started looking at the S and was surprised to find a +/-400 mile range on the long range. Really leaning towards the S for styling, it is a really sexy car, and not just sexy for a Tesla. In addition, sedan looking cars are becoming more rare. I think my Tesla dream would be a station wagon version of the S, not the bubble styling of the X, but a true station wagon design.
I have to check them out in real life. I sat in one at the Tesla store when my wife took delivery of her Y. I didn’t take the time to actually operate the doors. I like a nice vehicle but also don’t like to draw attention and I feel like the FWD is just a “look at me” feature. I also just think the S looks amazing. In all reality a Y would probably be a good fit, but I really want the quieter cabin, additional screen, and air suspension.
Get the S. I have a 23 one and I love it. The styling turns a lot of heads still because you just don’t see a lot of them on the road, its mostly 3 and y. The model s also has the same amount of storage as the X.
@@Uptownv, unfortunately the 3 does t have e enough cargo space for what I usually need. With the financing promo, I am considering a Y, tough to beat 0.99%
Falcon wings are great for some, horrible for others. Completely 50/50. Consider yourself lucky that you have the option to choose. I have to get the X in a few months because 7 seating is mandatory for us.
I booked the X but then changed to 2024 model 3 performance, heard falcon wing doors have higher probability of being faulty. Tried model s long range today. Monday will try it again before moving my order from new 3-performance. I will be getting yoke in S. I ordered the x with yoke as well…wanted the yoke in the new performance 3,not sure why this was not an option
Your not understanding something. The Model S LR is substantially faster than the Model 3 Performance ABOVE 60mph. Keep in mind people do go faster than 60mph. The Model S LR has 670hp/738tq while the Model 3P barely has 500hp. The Model S LR in "sport mode" is as quick as the M3P. Also there is NO STANDARD Model S anymore. As of 2021, you have TWO Model S. The Model S long range and the Model S Plaid. That's it! The Model S LR just to inform you has run 10.6@129mph in the quarter mile so that should help you understand this car will DESTROY ANY performance version of the Model 3 or Y.
I’ve been a Honda Civic person too long. Sorry can’t drive a big boat. I need to drive a small sporty car. I really like the display in front of steering wheel.
I'm the opposite. I can't drive in a little tin can like the Civic. It's almost the smallest car on the road a d a gust of wind would probably send that thing into a ditch.
I think Model S is the best overall offering from Tesla. Beautiful exterior and the premium interior with the behind the wheel screen (which should be in all their cars by default). Musk is obsessed with simplification but sometimes he takes it way too far, removing ALL the hardware buttons and shoving everything onto the giant ipad is overkill. Also you look at the original Model S and the touch board was vertical rather than horizontal and I find vertical screens easier to use with one hand.
It definately is the best overall tesla imo. I leased a 23 Model S LR after my lease for my MYP was done. Its a touring vehicle with a very comfortable ride. Quality greatly increased with the 23 models.
@@UTECHPIA Just took delivery of a 2023 MSP with 5k Miles. Cool thing is that sometimes you can find one with FSD already licensed while not being factored into the price. Having the Plaid I do have to be honest. I spend most of the time in chill mode and sport mode which is the same as the long range is plenty fast. Like really really fast. Plaid is just absurdly fast. Anyone would be happy with the Long Range. The Model S is a great car.
Keep in mind the S LR will absolutely DOMINATE the M3P (pre highland m3P since we dont have times for those yet) but from 60+ the S LR is a monster still vs the fall off from the M3P
For the first 5 minutes he’s talking as if 3.1 0-60 is slow af even though that’s literally faster than every car ever made under 500k other than the plaid lol…then he drives it and goes ‘holy shit it’s fast’
@@LanceJDanks seats are exactly the same on 2024’s unless you get plaid, comfort is debatable since if you opt for the 21’ it’s basically doesn’t matter and in no way it’s a better value at almost 3x the price lmao 🤣

I’d rather have a model s long range than a plaid as it’s fast enough and I care more about range than anything
Great choice. Can’t go wrong with a Model S 👍
I would get the model s long range hands down. It’s already fast as hell and it has longer range.
