- Balancing a steady offense with an active defense helped Clemson to earn a dominant 42-21 home victory over Georgia Tech. The Tigers’ defense only allowed 254 total yards in the win, and they picked off 4 Haynes King passes. Offensively, QB Cade Klubnik passed the ball 34 times for 23 completions, 205 yards, and 4 touchdowns. Will Shipley scored a touchdown in his return on the ground, as he and Phil Mafah carried the rushing load for the Tigers on 28 combined carries and 173 combined yards. Georgia Tech RB Jamal Haynes rushed for 104 yards in the loss

Although it's been a disappointing season, glad to see Clemson put it together these past two weeks. The offense is finally playing to its potential. Nice game by Klubnik - some impressive throws.

12:57 That play ended with an obvious targeting penalty that was completely missed. The lower angle on replay showed very clearly GT #44 intentionally lowered his head and hit the side of Shipley's head with the crown of his helmet -- even appeared to launch himself at the running back without extending his arms to attempt a clean tackle.
Acc refs are known to be absolutely terrible with everything unfortunately

WILL SHIPLEY on the 2 UNCALLED TARGETINGS (w/VIDS) that hurt him in this 11-11-23 GA Tech game, and another one in the 10-28-23 NC State game. UNCONSCIONABLE why the ACC Ref guys up in the booth did nothing about these (either one), even if the on-field refs missed them - they see the same TV replays that we do.

GA Tech QB played terrible. Any decent QB would have won this game for Yellow Jackets.
