- This tutorial video shows how I cleaned up, textured, sealed and painted these foam kitsune masks. This isn't the only way you can do it; this is just what I did. Hope you find some inspiration on how you can customize yours!

For me it has to be the Anubis mask. But I have always had a fascination with Egyptian lore. And looks like all of them turned out great.

If you sold premade bases I’d be all over that. Lovely work though, I love Kindred and would totally make the wolf mask for cons. Maybe you can make a lamb pattern too? That would be rad

Isn't the purple one the mask of Kindred? ( league of legends ) and Kindred are a wolf and lamb, not a fox
That one was kindred inspired. Just a way to decorate my pattern and not necessarily a perfect reproduction from LoL :)

I would think, since this is a stylized fox, that you can make it look like whatever you want depending on what you add/how you paint it. I would leave off the ears, replace them with horns, add fangs and scales and make it a dragon. I'd also design it to sit above my head so I could add glass eyes.

Hi, love this pattern you have. Would you say it'd be suitable to use for materials other than foam? I'd love to see this in a genuine wood style.
I think it could be made from cardboard and metal pretty easily, but I don't think it would work with wood, foam has the ability to bend and stretch which i take advantage of in this pattern!

I loved the Anubis mask, the gold accents and the smooth edges really make it pop. I love Egyptina lore and Anubis is my favorite of all the egyptian gods!!! Will his pattern helps with making a dragon skull? I am working on making a dragon skull mask :)

I know I might have to just test it out myself but do you think the minwax could be used to seal the foam instead of plastidip?
+TheGrinDragon you can paint it with acrylics right after heat sealing it, but be prepared to use a lot of paint because thr foam will still suck it up. Then minwax over the paint. It wont be quite as durable as using the plastidip, but will still work :)
They make a handle for the plastidip cans to make spraying easier maybe try one later if you get the chance I think they’re like $10 on Amazon

You can wear it, though you may need additional padding to help it sit right!
Just asking, but where did you buy the Creature cast? Ive never heard of anything like it till now, and i am interested on making this mask! Also, is Plastidip the only good substitute to Creaturecast? Or would something liek Modgepodge work as well?

What else can be used to seal it? Very limited on money
You can just use heat and a flexible paint like Plaid FX line if you're short on money. Won't last as long but will still work pretty well!
Could you this in cardboard because I don't have foam
I haven't tried it myself, but it probably could work!

•When you realize it can’t fit your head•
*PAIN*
You can print the pattern larger! In the print settings of the pdf select "print at custom scale" then enter a value between 101-110, maybe 115 so it can fit your head. They'll be some clipping of the pattern on the edge of the paper so be careful!
