That's madly impressive. I was expecting 4 to be noticeably quicker. Really is a testament to how well optimized iOS 6 was despite having way more features than iOS 4.
I wish mine would work, it won’t let me activate it, because I need to restore it but when I did, iTunes didn’t recognize it, and I was told the software is “too old” when it was running iOS 6 which was the last iOS it would support
Huh... So iOS 6 was faster. back in 2013 I had an iPod 4th generation and it was very slow even at the time on iOS 6.1.3. lots of animation lags and delay. iOS 4.3 ran games and apps a lot more smoother.
@@lucas.kelly579 most of the time newer updates slow down older iphones. my ipod touch 2nd gen is slow on 4.2.1 because the update is newer. it came with iphone os 2
