- Ready for one hour hitting the entire body? Quads, hamstrings, glutes, back, chest, shoulders, arms and core using dumbbells & bodyweight compound and isolation exercises to make you work really hard!
For this 1 hour full body workout, you will need a pair of dumbbells, your mat and a chair!
The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 15kg each and 8kg each!

"Think how lucky you are to do these movements" I love that, it's so true. Whenever I have a choice between the stairs or the elevator, I take the stairs. I think how lucky I am to be able to walk up steps, to feel my muscles working, to Feel my heart pounding. I've been this way for many years. Our bodies are so amazing. Thank you.

Ok, this one was tough, but doable... almost.
The kneel to squat complexes killed me and I had to pause A LOT 🤷♀️. The burn is so intense.
The Bulgarians complexes were 3 min bulgarians with a minibreak in there somewhere 😅.
I also FINALLY got the technique right with the sit-ups 😁✌️.

Kneel to squat was BRUTAL, I lost count of how many breaks I was taking during that one, lol. The Bulgarian lunge/decline pushups off the chair complex was my absolute FAVE. It was really great to be able to complete the pushups pretty easily. 😊❤

I couldn't keep count on the breaks either, it was INTENSE 😅🔥🔥. But wow, I felt good afterwards ✌️
My strategy is to not think about the overall time, but to focus on pouring everything into smashing each set I am on, rest for 30 seconds, repeat.

Hi everyone!! I'm 63 years old and was just wondering how many of you are over 60? I take breaks when needed, but can do way more than I ever thought I could! Don't let what you can't do get in the way of what you can!! Thanks Carolyn....you are wonderful!!
I'm almost 63. Had to take breaks near the end with the bulgarians and step up squats. I've been doing her workouts since last fall and can see/feel improvement in my strength and body tone. Haven't lost weight but I've lost the muffin top. So glad I found these workouts.
I have 4 more years and I’ll be in that part of this journey of life. And I do half of this workout at a time. Then add on a 15 minute abd/core training.
I'm almost 63, in 2024, and I'm still trying 😅 to move my body.
73 been working out since 1980. Still got in 1971 wedding dress

Body weights workouts saved me today... Mentally I wanted to stop so many times and that last complex seemed impossible to my body but not to mindset it really embraces the challenges you throw at us caroline,even if I have to drop weight.

@@matthewalmond4688 ☹️… Here almost everything is open (gyms with many rules and limited # of people) . I kept doing exercise online, that’s why I’m so happy to have found Caroline last year, and even Zumba. Now I go to a dance studio or outside Zumba. I hope you will be able to do Zumba soon, for me the dancing time is a time of joy where everything bad is gone 😊 same with Caroline and this community.

It's been over a year since I did an hour long workout consisting of anything, let alone lifting heavy: so I kind of expected this to be quite challenging.
I did not, however, expect it to take me an hour and 19 minutes to do (due to both pauses and finishing off complexes). That was quite humbling😂
In hindsight, it wouldn't have been as hectic if I hadn't opted for heavier weights wherever it was possible, but I'm kind of proud of how finished I am after this one. Today I accomplsihed things that I didn't realise were possible.
In EPIC II, which was the last time that I distinctly recall hour long workouts, I believe the heaviest I was lifting was abput 5kg and I was just starting to come to grips with standard pushups - that was in 2020 towards the end of the year.
At this point I have completed EPIC I-III and EPIC HEAT and almost all of Caroline's other series of up to 5 or so days. I'm working up to doing compound lifts comfortably with 12.5kgs - I can do a few reps of chest press and leg workouts are manageable at this weight, but my shoulders are lagging a lot and my grip fails me from time to time. I've also recently (literally this week) realised that I can bicep curl with 7kgs which is insane to me.
What I'm trying to say in this brief essay is that finding a way that you enjoy moving makes a life change and improving your quality of life so much easier.
Caroline is a God-send and this channel and community have been lights in some very dark times.
Thank you to Caroline, her team and this community for all that they have made possible for myself and so many others.

Same, I just did this workout and was crazy. My body was trembling and shaking and I was really focussing on celebrating my body for it functions, especially as I did not feel strong today! ❤❤🎉🎉
The kneel to squat and the tricep dips complexes killed me. And then we had the makers! Trust Caroline to take it up a few notches every single time :D
After having done so many workouts with Caroline, it truly is me versus me now. So glad that I did most of the sets with 7.5kgs without losing my form. The single-leg push-up became the normal one though.
I would be in a fix if Caroline started a new series on Monday because I have so badly been wanting to go back to Epic 1 for a while now.

Really enjoyed this workout this morning. It was definitely a very sweaty one too! Feeling a lot better about 1 leg decline push-ups too which was good :-) Can't afford new weights so bought 2 kg wrist weights and used those with my 9kgs and 6kgs until halfway through. This is now my absolute favorite full-body workout. I can feel myself getting stronger and I'm excited. I completed each move until failure. Failure is good. I will definitely repeat this workout series next week.
When I saw the 'maker' move, I was a little discouraged, but once I got in my groove and tried it, I can already tell it will be one of my go-to moves.
My advice: just start!

The complex with the kneeling squats and narrow to wide squats caused pain in my quads.

This was fantastic, the hardest workout I have done with you, but I was prepared and just trusted the process and it was actually doable. It was about breaking mental barriers and I was able to finish… and went to a 7 mile run afterwards. I now feel like Im on a cloud 😊I feel so proud of myself. Thank you Caroline for pushing me beyond what I thought was possible. I shall repeat this combination soon.

Got my second shot of Pfizer vaccine today and jumped into this workout as soon as got home. No arm ache from the vaccine at all. Caroline's workouts are magical!

50 minutes of determination to push through. The shoulder press, Bulgarian split Squat and kneel to squat complexes were the toughest for me. I loved the last complex. Caroline you crushed it again!!

Love this workout! Was it me, or did Caroline do 10 reps in the single-sided staggered DL/squat sections? It said 15 so I kept going then I counted and realized she did 10...so I did too! 😁❤️

Hi Brittany, so excited before... during the session: at 20%, I feel like I've already done the hour... 60% still not the triceps complex she highlighted in the intro 😮. when the thighs don't respond after the knee to squat complex, there it is 😱 Decidedly Caroline still has a sense of #timing

I missed this series because I was away on vacation so I am doing it this week and really love it. Yes, it has been so long since we did a one hour workout but I knew I could handle it having done so many in Epic and Epic II. Me vs Me. A good preparation for Epic III. I suspect we'll see some one hour full bodies in it. Thanks Caroline for all you do. You are helping this 63 year old keep healthy, fit and strong so I can get outside and do the things I enjoy like hiking, cycling, kayaking and paddle boarding.
