  • My thoughts and ideas on the Tusk setup. I don’t mention it in the video but these are the “Large” boxes and they are really a nice size. Not too big or too small.
    Hope this helps someone!

I got these and have been marking and remarking the marks for drilling but can't decide on the angle in the event of a spill but this footage and your comments helped me figure it out. Thank you for sharing!

I have the 2023 Kawasaki KLR 650S. I also purchased the new V2 panniers which allows you to pivot the lids rather than just take them totally off.

Nice review ~Liam. Certainly field tested. I have a set of these ...
    1. Be sure to Locktite all bolts. I lost a couple of the top handles on my summer Idaho ride. The RMATV sent me out replacements.
    2. The screw in safety bolts that go in from the panniers to the racks are great. Keep people from stealing your stuff and confidence your panniers will not fall off. Always check all 4 latches are locked when gasing up.
    3. I like mine .

I guess they’ve seen their fair share of use 😄... yeah loctite is a must.

Awesome review! I do like my Panniers too. Sweet! I got some sticker air-time! Good customer service goes a long way.

I was going to get some but went the ammo can route with drier axis luggage racks. Works good but probably a little more heavy.

Possibly... my main reason for doing this was for the detachable part, I’ll have to look into those racks.
