As someone who never played RE4 classic I was baffled how could I never play this? The Remake is so awesome I already clocked in over 100 hours as a casual with several playthroughs, mercenaries & the ADA DLC. LOVE IT!
Just keep at it. Like any game the more you play it you synch with it, and get a mental mapping of everything better. Try not to start with high expectations, as your skill will develop at a level of your relative ease, whether you stay alive taking your time, or moving fast. I had a very hard time in this part on standard using basic settings, but with getting used to the remake, if I went back I could probably do alot better.
He is playing on either regular difficulty or assisted, it’s still really good, just not on the hardest level. I can tell bc some of the enemies die from only a few shots and they took much more for me on hardcore
No game ever effected me like the original RE4. The best version I played was infact on the Wii. I'm on chapter3 in this new remake on XBOX series S. It's very easy for me to say that NO game is better than this, it's perfection. I can also wait 10 to 15 years for an insane lifelike game engine, for another remake of the greatest game ever made. Honorable mention goes to Halo Infinite multiplayer, both these games are all I'll need for years.
I love Rockstar games.. i adore witcher 3 and the souls games. But the gameplay of RE4 is just unmatched. You can build the most compelling worlds with the most gorgeous graphics but something is always missing. I fucking love this game so much, i can't think of another game that comes close to the gameplay and combat of RE4. I really miss my childhood and the countless evenings i spent playing the original. My friends be playing outside my house, shouting my name to come out and play with them but alas, my PlayStation 2 is melting but i gotta complete my 67th playthrough of RE4. As a wise man once said, "story of my life"..... Now i'm 26 years old, stuck in a viscous loop of overthinking and bad decisions. I'm not mature enough for this cruel world but i gotta keep going and i have a feeling that i will make it and you will too ❤
If you go back to the village with Ada in separate ways it looks phenomenal. Little bit darker but with all the fire....just amazing. A was walking slowly between two building towards the big fire and was blown away

It is so much better than the original. While the original pioneered the over the shoulder pov, the movements was so stiff and some part of the story didn't make sense at all
Ngl Capcom going with the first person shooter limits a lot of gameplay elements, re4 remake shows what Capcom is capable of with its gameplay of a re game
I thought the two chainsaw sisters were a challenge. And then I got to the castle and I thought that was a challenge. Then I got to the two garrador room and everything before was cake compared to that haha.
I loved the Garrador room on assisted mode with gun and knife only challenge 😃 I only used the knife for the easier enemies so the Garradors never heard me 😅
funny thing is that its a storm night moon should be covered with huge clouds but still its visible but in real life it should have been pitch dark. if developers would have given pitch dark night then it would have been more horror like outlast leon would been dependent on torch walking deep in into forest in stealth to hide from ganados avoid being detected. zombie dogs would emerge from anywhere giving jumpscares and you have to protect ashley . it would have such challenging and thrill.
Yeah, they didn't really use the chance to make it more horror. But I am sure many people wouldn't appreciate this big change. I mean they even left out the most scary boss fight. But the new graphics adds to the horror atmosphere
Guys actually you can play like him or even better if you'd just play more more and more. Make good aim, use grenades and flashbangs, don't forget about knife parry and everything's gonna be cool. Actually I learned how to play cool enough after my two walkthroughs on standard difficult. Game has become too easy after that.
He could've just ducked the two chainsaws coming through the wall, but I guess he needed a reason to do that wall flip he probably practiced so much in training.

Only reason I have taken damage on Professional was acting hard and thinking I could time my parrys right, 5/10 I get them right but being on low health I always get them right somehow😭
