Are more tornadoes popping up in Northeast Ohio?

No question. it seems much of the tornadic activity this year has happened in the southern part of the viewing area. Is there any truth to that?
There sure is. Oddly enough, so far this year the country’s most frequent tornadic activity isn’t in the Deep South… it’s in Ohio.
What’s up 2024?
Why Ohio? We have had a VERY warm spring so far, and that provides severe thunderstorms with the ingredients necessary for tornadic development: namely warm, humid, unstable air.
