Any reservations I had about Age of Annihilation are rapidly fading as we get to see the cards for these figures. I’m already thinking of new army ideas involving these units.

Thank you for the video, guys! It was great to see some of the new characters in action. I wonder if a short 2-3 minute overview of the game might also be worthwhile? I'd be worried that new players might get turned off if they think they have to watch a 45 minute video to learn to play the game.

Love this! I wasn't a fan initially of the Nemesis War Brood but after seeing the Queen and The Festering Honor Gaurd in action I can't wait to get them on the table. I do wish though that the FHG were designed to work with Braxas the original Queen of 'Scape. At the end you were joking about next time, I hope it's sooner rather than later looking forward to seeing the Glide Strikers and Air Marshall Zed Nesbitt fight the Ironclad Collective with the Helforge Manduker. Hopefully we'll also see those trees next time too.

Scape is my favorite game of all time, but for clarification it's NOT an RPG - it's a miniatures skirmish game. There are plenty of lore and themed scenarios, but the game in no way involves role-playing.

Loving these bears. It's a shame Patrick got screwed by such an early chest burster. I think the bears could have pulled it out if Adelbern had lasted longer.

Should have used that auto squad killer bear to eat more bugs before going for The Queen !! LOL love how when the infest went off The Bears lost initiative pooping themselves, after witnessing their champion explode and become the enemy!!
I bought the terrain pack... and got Craig to sign my Sgt. Drake Alexander bonus figure. looking forward to seeing the rest hitting retail very soon (a few local shops are carrying the unpainted versions in my area)

Height advantage is always based on where the bases of the figures are relative to each other. However, sometimes people forget height advantage and things like that. It happens even to experienced players sometimes.
I'm an avid heroscape fan...I just found this video. Why didn't you all do any serious marketing? There was nothing on any of the gaming forums I follow.... And I didn't hear anything from any of my convention friends either... I feel like more marketing would have helped. I'm sad to see that this hasn't been funded. Out of curiosity--are you still going to sell game pieces? Because honestly, terrain is where it's at. Everyone needs a ton of terrain.
Hasbro purposefully didn't give enough advertising because they believed the brand name would have secured enough funds from their fanbase. But as always, Hasbro got greedy and decided to hike up the backing price all while pinching pennies from marketing.

Like...they could have just made a proper line of things with proper advertising, and it would have made money. But no....just sad. I still want me some of that sweet new terrain.
@@tedshinn792 From what they've shown, the glyphs all have red backsides, so I'd say it's not likely we'll see treasure glyphs this time. I love them though, so hopefully we'll see some in the future if we fund!

I think the queen is an amazing balance against older heroes like q9, who could hold up his defense the entire game and never be broken through

We don't know yet, they haven't revealed what glyphs will be in the set. That leads me to believe there will be a couple new ones though.
