Just ordered 2 LP-E6Ps for the R5C. If I can get an hour plus video on it now I'll be ecstatic!!!! Samy"s Camera showing in stock
missed the live but im streaming it now 💪💪
Daaaaam Josh, this is what I like to see. 100% NO NONSENSE real truthful and onsite demos as in the battery test. That's why I just CANNOT listen or watch the canon ambassadors. Great man and I don't think I will go R5ii. Think I will buy the R5C and even more interested in the run time one the R5C. Not bad an hour plus in 4K 24fps. Happy days are coming. I will test R5ii soon but very doubtful I'll buy.
That was me asking about the discord, your answer totally made sense and I support it.
Im going to get that new internal battery ASAP if it last as long as your testing!!! Im so excited!!
Had an R5c since it came out and now lucky enough to have an R5ii also. I totally get what you’re saying, so far still prefer the R5c for video. The R5ii is such a great stills camera though sometimes deciding which one to take is a tough choice
Just catching up, the conversation at 18:30. I wonder if turning IBIS off on the R52 can improve recording/overheating times?
When on tripod recording long form videos IBIS is not needed. Then when handheld, because it’s stop/start all the time then overheating is never an issue.
Josh - did you check your raw/pl footage? Did you have the same issue?
Love your channel. Which would you recommend for content short films and a limited indie tv show and indie feature, the canon r5 original or the canon r6 mark ii? Everything will be in 4k with a max of 60 frames pers second. I have been trying to decide between these two cameras for at least 8 million years so any advice would be amazing. Thank you very much and thanks for your amazing videos
Most likely the Canon R5. They got rid of the overheating problem and you can shoot 4k 120fps or 8k as well. Prices are cheap right now because of people selling them to upgrade
@@cyrusperry6482 I’ll never use the higher frame rates, only 24 and 60 but you are right, prices are really cheap on used ones right now.
@@VoodooDelicious I believe the r6 mark ii is still prone to over heat in certain conditions. I’ve heard rumors of a possible r6 mark iii but I’d go with the camera you need right now as we don’t know if the rumors are true
I believe the 4k 60 fine is oversampled on the r6ii so that should be sharper. The R5 is oversampled in 4k 24p so that looks even sharper. The R5 seems to have a bit more dynamic range in clog 3 as well. I have both and am always choosing the R5 for video… I do shoot a bit of 4k 120 so that might be why
Go for the R6II. I've been using it since it came out. Took it all over the country and to Africa also. Amazing dynamic range. Battery life is good. Never faced any overheating. Just buy a cage with it.
Under 2,500 camera nope no mention of panasonic s5iix - nope not one word.
Hey sometimes when you are taking questions live from people you forget a few things. I did praise the S5IIX at a different point in the stream and talk about it's value.
