I don't understand why this is a bad release. Many licensed songs from the JP version of Extreme are here including some from DDR Solo and other releases. The interface was the only thing that give this game a bad reputation but hey if we can play those songs why does it matter?
If the name was something else there would be less complaints. But even then, the grading scale is terrible, the people who buy all the DDR games got ripped off because this games repeats way way too many songs from previous versions. Finally the dance pad options were taken out for some stupid reason. Dance pad players couldn't turn off the face buttons which totally ruins the game. This game is criticized for good reason and the reason why Extreme 2 was vastly improved.
