@carcodesecure Unfortunately, after swapping the control panel, it stopped working. Now, neither panel seems to have power. I'll try to repost here once I diagnose what caused it and what the solution is.

I'll look at the one that says it's for my vehicle's year and model and at first it looks correct, but then I'll notice that there's a very slight difference. I have a 328xi e90 with a build date of January 2008.

Any idea when you'll be doing a video on the wiring? I'm fitting power folding mirrors in my e82 but I haven't got memory seats, is it just a case of running wires from the door loom to the frm?
Every e92 will have an electric mirror regardless, so that wouldn't affect anything. Having the electric seats should provide the correct wiring for the mirrors.
@@carcodesecure I have a LCI e93 , it has electric heated memory seats , plug in my mirrors and switch nothing works , no mirrors no windows , unplug the mirrors , windows work again … so no , not plug & play .

Sounds like something shorted. Check your fuses

Unfortunately not. I have the wiring look and mirrors ready to do it but haven’t done so. My plan is to do one this year!

I read somewhere (few places) that this folding mirrors have different wiring but it's plug & play here. So who is right?
as to what i understand it is prewired if your car has power seat. but if it has manual seats it isnt prewired
Yes if you have memory seats from factory then it’s plug and play for mirrors. If you don’t have power memory seats then wiring loom is required.

Which autool is that. Can you tell us more
Autel MK908p is the one I used. You can use any Autel/launch with programming capabilities and even BimmerCode on LCI caes
can i do this but without a diagnostic machine like that ?
Yes you can use your phone and bmw coding app
