A word of caution though, they do need constant attention, and if you do get one kitten, it's easier to have two, because they will entertain each other when the owner is away.
One recently tried to adopt me ..but owners came and asked me not to feed it or let it in . I agreed of course but cat still comes to my door everyday ! Lovely friendly cat!
I adore my Siamese girl. I’ve recently discovered, by crying around her, that she is incredibly empathetic. She’s never been a huge cuddler because she grew up in an isolated environment. But when I cried around her she made some new chirping sounds then came to comfort me. She’s just lovely and it makes me feel less alone 🥰
Not only siammes needs to be with other cats, all pets need to have another animal of their own species. Is sad when people go to work and had to leave them alone in the house because they cry a lot . I notice that when i had a day off and my neighbour s' dog used to cry and he look so sad.

😺 My mother told me that our first Siamese cat Mimi used to sleep in our crib and had her kitten litters there. I guess she liked us more than we remembered.
I was 7 when Mom got two Seal point Siamese kittens, Phu Cat (foo) and Bein (ben) Cat. Bein died of Feline Leukemia in 1976, Phu Cat lived to be 19. He was my kitty, no doubt, from first grade to high school graduation, (he was in my Senior picture) to my enlistment in the Coast Guard, and my return to Las Vegas in 1983. He was cremated, and Mom and I buried his ashes under his favorite rose bush, a beautiful yellow called Honor. I'm 61 now, and have had many cats in my life, but I still miss Phu Cat, and think of him often. ✌️💖😺
We had Simee for seven years and was run over by a car after getting out of the house one Sunday afternoon. He had grown up with taffy an old tom cat and when taffy died, he was never the same all ways looking for him. When I was in Vietnam and my mother would write me a letter every once in a while, she would take his pawn and place it on a ink pad and stamp the letter. That made me laugh because I could just imagine him walking away after it was wiped clean and shaking it down the hallway. The best toy he loved was chasing a rabbit's paw good luck piece on a string but don't let him have it to long best he would eat it which he did one time.hahahahahaha
My grandmother had Siamese cats for the whole time I knew her. I got a Siamese and a magpie to keep mice away from the farm house I lived in for a couple of years, and now I've had him for several years. He's my buddy.
My siamese is 15 yr old house cat. He is so sweet and energetic. Love's to watch the brids outside he will stock them jumping from chair to chair, and he loves to chat too. I am blessed that I work from home cause I get to spend a lot of time with him. We love you, Stewie meat
I've rescued more than 10 Siamese over the years. Unfortunately they're the most common pedigree cat to end up in rescue. They are high maintenance and need company and affection. They are glorious but can develop a lot of anxiety and antisocial behaviours if their needs aren't met.
I rarely see the in shelters, when they do its likely a case of breeding gone bad. Or in my case my boys came from a hoarding house and then to the shelter I adopted them from. But I have two so they are never alone.
I just adopted a sealpoint bobtail. She is very cool, gets along well with my 3 other cats. She isn't very vocal but does find ways to let me know what she wants. First Siamese bobtail I've ever seen. Very cute and unique.
I must say, I have 2, they are very special, I have the sleek one and the fluffy one as well. I took in a litter of 6 babies 5 years ago as we took in a stray cat and she had all these kittens and left 🤣😂, two are simease, they are everything this video says. I never realized one litter could have such a variety of kittens, we have a tiger cat, she is my female, the rest are males, two orange, 2 simease and a white flame point. Truly amazing and really a lot of fun.
My mom had several Siamese cats when we were kids. I remember my 8 year old brother teaching one of our cats how to flush the toilet. Previously I didn’t think it was possible 🐱
I used to have two, and they were great, the kids grew up with them, and they all played together none stop, the best bit was they were always up to something, messing with things, or finding ways to annoy me 🙂
This is all so true about Siamese. I adopted siblings, a Siamese male and solid black female. Complete opposite personalities. He loved interacting with people and she hid, sometimes even from us for a good couple of years. He was so into everything, and loved doing tricks and whatever obstacle courses we could think of. He adored our Collie, a mutual love. Both cats lived to be 17. He had some skin issues we could control with diet. She had no health problems at all.
Three years ago next month Nov 2023 I was lucky enough to adopt a Seal Point/ Ferral mix kitten. She was under my hedge and I befriended her and, after a week of feeding her, I took her into my home. I think she had been put out by someone because of her big personality. Her cat litter box habits weren't perfect and she was a biter. I didn't care. I loved her at first sight...SO beautiful! For her first year she did take up a lot of my time and energy but now she has settled into my wave length and seems calm and happy. Unlike his descriptions here she is not as affectionate as I would prefer but her personality and beauty are enough for me. I'm 77 and my man left Earth one year after my Mookie came into my life. I like to think my Jeff and The Universe ARRANGED for this cat to come to be a companion to keep me from being lonely❤.
We have 2 and we've enjoyed them for years there is no way in hell we can separate them at all so if you're the lucky person you'll wake up with them both cuddling up to you and each other. Very vocal, playful and the 2 biggest head butters ever when they want attention.
Almost 31 years ago that I petted a sweet and friendly Siamese cat. She was missing one of hers front legs. She had the most beautiful blue eyes. She had 4 cute black kittens with her. The kittens stayed near the front tire of the car in the driveway. The kittens were scared of me. I won’t hurt the kittens. Even when I was 10 and 11 years old a neighbor used to have 2 red point Siamese cats. They were both afraid of me. To me they were both beautiful cats.
You'll never convince me any cat is a finer companion than my Bombay. A lap cat, a close friend who follows me everywhere, my protector against any perceived threat. Gentle and calm. Gets along with the other two, doesn't require special attention or care. Love him like the wonderful friend he is and he's yours forever. I guess he's kinda the opposite of a Siamese.
I too had the most beautiful and amazing Siamese cat that was killed on June 4th of this year. She was a long haired Siamese mix that absolutely loved and adored me and my husband. (But hated everyone else…lol). I’m so completely heartbroken broken by her loss and don’t think I’ll ever get over it! So condolences friend. I know how you feel!
Oh it is so sad when our kitty friends leave us behind. I'm 77 and have had many cat pals over the years. Some were "just cats" while others were definitely "Special Friends". Do you know that just after they leave Earth their spirit Souls are still around you? Yup. It's not some spooky 'paranormal' phenomenon. It is a Spiritual Truth and very easy to prove. They, like all beloved pets, go into Eternity to be with Our Loving Creator just as us Human Souls do. You can call them to you but it takes time and patience and, above all, belief. Personally I tried calling my favorite feline friend Jo-Jo for many nights just after prayers. Nothing happened for about a week. Then one night after my usual " Here kitty kitty. Come Jo-Jo" I felt his weight ( he was a fat cat ) jump upon my bed. I did not see him ....only felt his little animal presence but it was heart warming. Another time, after my Philo had been killed by a car, every morning pre dawn I heard him meow outside my bedroom window just as he had done when alive. ( he was an in door/out door kitty ). I kept going out to answer him but no one was ever there. I was troubled by this and mentioned these happenings to a friend who was more spiritually aware than I. She told me that perhaps Philo wasn't clear as to where he was to relocate. Perhaps if next time I heard him I should tell him he was to move on in his "journey" and that I loved him but he no longer belonged on Earth. Well I did that and no more pre dawn visits. These occurrences were NOT MY IMAGINATION. It happened! Also, fyi, the people who have had NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES have reported that our beloved pets ARE IN HEAVEN and we reunite with them there. So don't be sad for your deceased cat pals. They are fine and you'll be with them again when you pass on.❤
Love Siamese cats, they’re the only babies we’ve ever had. We’ve had seven and we got them through the Siamese Rescue League. We currently have a female Seal Point and a male Flame Point (our first).
That thumbnail picture, with a Siamese on each shoulder- there's a novel, Owls In The Family, by Farley Mowat. As a boy, he had two owls, which roamed the family house. His mother is on record saying 'You've never baked a chocolate cake until you've done so with an owl on each shoulder!'
Over most of my life, we have had Yum Yum, Tiki, Worthington, Koko and Tiki II. (They live long lives) • You showed mostly white fluff-ball kittens. Why not the adult Siamese with their rich coloring and sleek bodies? •You didn't play examples of their voices. This is a major point in owning a Siamese if you don't know what you're in for. Their voices are lower pitched than the average cat and LOUD! You will have entire conversations with them. And if you have done something wrong, like return from work 5 minutes late, well, if you have never been chewed out by an angry Siamese, you're in for a humbling experience. They are magnificent cats, but it's like having a young child. An honored responsibility.
Can never excuse Disney for the hatchet job they did on Siamese cats. It taught generations of US parents and kids to think Siamese cats are evil and vicious.

That's just cats in general, not really breed specific.
@@RedRoseSeptember22Siamese are more likely to get lonely than your average house cat, it is known.
I see several Snowshoes in there. One of a kind cat.
There's one outside my house that doesn't want to be caught. He seems friendly otherwise.
That is true I have owned three different types of Siamese cats, and they are very needy.
I have had Siamese cats my entire life (59+ years). I adore them!!! They’re intelligent, funny, sweet, loving cats!!! 😻💞🤗
They're SO smart!!!
One recently tried to adopt me ..but owners came and asked me not to feed it or let it in . I agreed of course but cat still comes to my door everyday ! Lovely friendly cat!
3 months into having my first Siamese kitten. The only con is that they will steal your heart and you will fall in love with them
Yep.
@Leftyice I have a question. I REALLY WANT 2 Siamese cat, but what job should I get if I get them?
Yes 💯🤚
I adore my Siamese girl. I’ve recently discovered, by crying around her, that she is incredibly empathetic. She’s never been a huge cuddler because she grew up in an isolated environment. Mine is 16 years old. She is still an energetic rascal. Her back legs are a little wobbly, other than that she is in phenomenal health.
Hope she lives a long and happy life 🤞 mine is 11 🥰❤️

I have one. Trust me, you’ll be hooked.
I had one for a year and half. He was so cuddly and playful, too.

I love the Siamese cat. Yes they're talkative, yes they're clever -💕
My first cat was a Siamese named “Bad Rice.” That damn animal never shut up.
So you didn't like them?

so i have a year old siamese and i have her since she was really young (1 month) and since she came to my house she never played with a cat again. and i sterilized her so she was never in heat. everytime she sees a cat outside she hisses and gets really agressive. i have some garden space and once she was out (i was with her ofc) a random cat appeared. they approached each other and when mine was close enough she got in that agressive fighting pose and just kinda slapped the other cat hissing. the other cat was chill until that but after that ran away.
the thing is, she gets bored often. sometimes if i pet her a lot and play with her she calms down but sometimes that isnt enough. and there are times where no ones home. ive though about getting her a cat friend but i doubt she would treat it well. i know that her encounters with other cats arent the way to introduce cats but still, i dont know how she would act. any advice?

You have been chosen! Enjoy your new master lol.
