The instant you get get Tactical Bomber Squad, as long as you can get a good run on the US carrier vertically, you'll nearly one shot them, since the US's flight deck isn't armored enough to prevent the bombs from penetrating. Finish off with your choice of fire or flood and it's over. Anytime I'm on my US, if the enemy is an Eagle I'm basically running against the TBS timer to either kill them first, or do enough damage that they're deterred from sniping me lol. Sometimes it doesn't matter either way.
