Yep, I was the "Winklejohn" warrior in that clip. Chaddio was really pumped up, wanted to fight the Cyclopian one-on-one (Armada was the warrior summoning the Cyclopian for his WW Axe). We said, sure, but let us know if you want us to jump in. We tried to pull the Cyclopian off him and give him a chance to escape but no dice. We had to drink our swiftness potions and get the hell out of there too, that Cyclopian is no joke when you're in the mid-30s lol

As a warrior in UBRS, never use your shield wall on a large pack. Save it for the next character.

Calling "stand in" on Geddon is a good red flag to quit your HC raid guild.
I’m guessing those players are among the first wave of non-raiders who made it to 60 on HC and decided to try raiding. A recipe for disaster
In normal mode we wouldn't even risk our world buffs that take an hour to get on something like this. Why the hell would you risk your character you spent 4-6 days leveling!?

you can stay in kind of if you have a speed run group, have fire protection pot up when u run in (so its off cd and can pop a second) and have the fire ress debuff from UBRS. Staying in on hc is just really stupid tbqh.
If people learn anything, never do a dungeon with Kungen.

@@hexedpk He was talking about his Natures Swiftness binding specifically which would've allowed him to instant cast a heal. I still agree though, should've just stayed still and pumped heals.
his bindings actually disappeared shortly before the dungeon, and was able to restore them but 2 were missing, one of those was natures swiftness
He did the right play cancelling that cast bcs the tank might have died before its finished and rather instant it, which he couldnt since it wasnt bound what he didnt know

last time in my guild someone said you can go cathedral with lvl 30 - easy game as heal.
no way i would ever go in there with a heal lower than 35, and even thats very very low.
@@Thanatos2k he was casting normal heal. okay to save mana with but needed the greater heals. He for sure would've pulled aggro if he did heal enough to keep the tank up. No way the tank is holding threat on all those mobs. They aren't even in an insane AoE grp and that boss stuns everyone. Terrible idea lol.
I like how the last compilation had a warrior dying in ubrs saying I've never seen people pull back before. And this compilation has a group not pulling back and wiping (at least that one guy dying) showing why it is indeed a good idea to pull mobs back.
A few clips ago we have seen the warri that told us he never pulled back this pack in UBRS and here we see why you should pull it back.

Yeah that was obvious. In the clip we see the pala always taking the longest path, also running in circles. Soda's ears so far are a green kill and a quitter kill
I’m a little disappointed that @classichc cut out a good portion of the duel. I watched the whole 4ish min video of it and it was very clear that the pally was throwing but you can’t exactly tell that by the way @classichc portrays it. smh 😔

the more Kungen clips i watch, the more i am convinced he somehow shenaniganned his way through the game in the past and somehow ended up as gm on a fluke.
"why can't i heal" dude.... your tank got crushed and your bindings weren't "gone"... i mean you got a heal off, how do you explain that?... you jumped and cancelled your heal which would have otherwise been cast... why are you even jumping? that's like silencing yourself for 1.5 seconds.

As a healer main I was equal parts confused and angry at that.
he was trying to cast Nature Swiftness which is instant. You can see on his bars the binding for NS is not there.

That’s Kungen, Raid leader of MANY world first raids in WOW history. He’s a true legend among legends. Him getting the mate killed by binding scoming undone is just comedy honestly.

I think his NS was not bound. He pressed what he though was the key and started a hard cast heal, then cancelled when it didn’t instant cast in panic.
If the boss has a Nova ability and you’re melee, *don’t risk it.* Seriously, just use whatever ranged option you have and just pepper the boss for Execute. Your parse does not matter if you die.
its even worse with this nova,this nova does more dmg the further into the cast it is,so even if it doesnt kill you early,it will ramp up and will oneshot lol. so its mega easy to get baited into thinking its safe

That troll priest at 8:51 deserves a salute. Standing in the face of certain death, this man planted his 4 enormous toes in the ground, and tried to save his tank. He could have fled, he could have used a swiftness potion, but he knew his balls were too big to retreat.

Well he canceled a big heal 0.2 seconds before it was finished and as result the tank died.. And instead of jumping down and running out, which would have succeeded, he tried to Hs out.. Just a dumb decision.

@@patrickhahn8042 The tank would have died either way. I assumed that it was a cleaver group but upon looking the setup was a guaranteed wipe. He shouldn't have asked, he should have told those idiots to halt and focus on adds first.
not really. mans should of trusted his gut and bail out after the tank pulled the boss and all the side packs. there's no way they're clearing all the side packs, alongside the 3 phase boss. thats a full wipe. dont die for another's ignorance.

He did a reverse gainer, grabbed the zipline in midair, and repelled down the balcony instead of just taking the stairs.

@ZugzugZugzugson If your tank goes from 100% to 20% in 1 second it’s perfectly natural to cast NS. Now he could have tried continue healing or just click NS instead of jumping like a moron.

theres another one when you walk up on the right side to the cathedral - the hallway to the far right - jump on the ledge in the last corridor.
works only if you are out of melee range though.

If you dont have a massive weakaura for resisted feigndeaths taking up half your screen you are not ready for DMT

@@michaelzizzo6726 ah it looked okay to me. Same spot I usually FD. Although it’s been a while since I did it. Unless I was going for speedruns I would usually opt for pulling the mobs further back with pet to ensure no resist is possible anyway.
@@michaelzizzo6726 not true, the spot is completely fine. The only issue was getting up from FD right away, simple mistake, it could have been easily avoided by waiting 1 sec.
@@EntonyCzRuagreed, he didn't wait for mobs to turn back. Honestly that pack is too dangerous for hardcore runs to pass them without invis pot. The rest can be done as usual.

This is sus. He was casting a heal as he was saying my bindings are gone. then jump cancels it then heals himself. Dick move. I'm wondering what the war did to deserve it.
I think the hotkey which wasn't working was the NS - Which would've allowed him to instant cast heal to the tank 😅 So I'd assume he went into a bit of a panic since the heal didn't go off instantly 🤷🏼♂️ + ofc the warrior just got clapped without him ever tossing on a shield, shield block or shield wall... And I think he mentioned at the start of the clip that he also had LiP which he didn't use either, better luck next time I guess
@@anttihakkarainen1520 I think this is what happened as well, I recently made a NS+healing touch macro on my druid and there have been times Im not sure if I am clicking the wrong button or the macro is just not working.

the first clip speaks volumes about the quality of players in hardcore. after 19 years of WoW and 4 years of classic people still dont know something as basic as Geddon's inferno ramping its damage.
It's almost like some people were born in 2005 and started playing the game as 18 years olds when HC was released - Unbelievable!
They knew.. they tried to push it before it ramped too high but everyone didn't commit.
thats not a RL fault. some guys just ran out after the call to stay in. if they commit boss will die 100%, but yeah this is a risk
The call was made to stay in since the MT saw the raid only needed 2.6 seconds to kill boss after starting the AoE. However, several people ran out. That's when you hear another officer say: "Get out." (since he saw the dps dip) but it was too late already since the heavy 4.5k damage tick would hit about 1.5 sec later.
Incorrect call in hardcore and we learned from that. Don't be in the speedrun mindset. Stay safe, all!

Chaddio wanted to try it one-on-one. Armada and me said "Okayyyy....but let us know if you want us to jump in". We were pretty sure that he was going to die, but we had to give him his shot at the Big Guy.
@@pavelowjohn9167 I like how his confidence didn't waver after 10 seconds of combat when the HP bar of the enemy didn't move at all. He also went back in, totally deserved to die and then some.
Weirdly the warrior who fought with Cyclonian didn't wanted to show ppl that he drank the wrong nature resistance potion.
Why fight him like this. Just use the river and kite him. Its so easy. You cant die, just fail and start over. Did it on 33 with no problems

When you're in SM Cath, and you know your party havent cleared the sides, and the tank pulls - start HSing immediately.
I'd just run out. There's no zone wide agro. Don't risk them dragging everything over you on the HS.

he never used siphon life and only started using drain life at the very end, he made it so much harder than it had to be
He also didn't properly LOS and ate an unnecessary fireball like 3 times. You need to walk further around the corners, wow has some leeway for los and range

My hardcore server would disable hearthstones and no removals from combat. You're stuck in the instance while in combat. You go in together, you die together.
At least the mage at shatterpeak village doesn't have to make the run back. Lol

6:10 yeah if you change pretty much any UI settings, or make macros, and then DC or alt/f4 out of the game before you do a natural log out, you lose everything you changed. This is why whenever I change any settings like these or update/make new macros I always relog first.
You can just /reload, that also works

you think a shield would have saved the tank? because it wouldn't... it would have slightly delayed the inevitable, but that druid was dead the second he pulled the boss.
even at lvl 60 WITH talents, the priest shield only prevents 1100 damage, at this priests level the mobs would have chewed through his shield in a second or less.
oh and by the way, the druid still has the forbearance debuff, meaning the priest already shielded him, which means he couldn't shield the tank even if he tried to.
