LOL reminds me when I died on my gnome mage in stone talon mountains, I was auto walking while sorting my quests, I was so used to quest in this zone AS HORDE that I wasn’t focused and took the wrong path straight into the Horde town, died to guards, didn’t take time to explain and created a warlock
Hardcore WoW sure introduced the new meta of ranged classes playing in melee range for some reason. I just couldn't figure out what it is yet 😂
To not attract a dread threat - wandering patrols, obviously. A Bane of truest hardcore players.
@@skywillfindyouthe real issue is all the guides telling people NOT to train spells to save money. Like hunters shouldn’t be training tracks because they cost 16-60 silver.
Screw that, I got all my tracks and have been actively rotating through them while running around. Do you know how useful it is to be tracking dead in darkshire? I’ve seen stiches multiple times before I’ve seen stitches.
You see a hell lot of range dying.
Overall the controlled pulling is less the probelm, than surprise attacks.
Those with good defense and selfheal got the best chances. CC is nice, but even then some unluck resist quickly kills you.
It’s both a combination of some ranged playing in melee to avoid pathing from other mobs, and because some retail specs play better in melee, like frost mage in 10.1 specifically because frozen orb pathing sucks.

A warrior dropping back to back full rage executes after a threat reset is also pretty juicy. In hardcore "warrior vanish" is permanent.

a few days ago, I was doing stockades on my priest with a group. We got to the boss that fears (I forgot about that ability) and he feared the entire party. I went into an uncleared room where I feared, potioned, and desperate prayered. We pulled 12+ mobs as a result of that fear, but we didn't lose anyone. Nearly everyone got down to 15% or less at some point in that fight. Wish I had been recording or that someone was recording.

To be honest .. the voidwalker did absolutely nothing except taking him 5 years to summon .. should’ve started running instead of summoning .. the REAL hero was the priest with his shield that stopped the lock from getting dazed .. but to be fair .. everybody should’ve started to run after seeing that pull and then probably more than 2 would’ve survived

@@Gameguy102 I'm pretty sure his spec was not built for blizzarding from max range so AEing is probably fine. Needed to manage threat though. He said after he was talking about work and got distracted, happens.

And guys, thats why some warriors live while other die, loved it when he said commit, and actually did. Not funny to see another warr dying with retal up, back against the mobs and perma extending the leash then asking how they died afterwards.
hunter died because his defense skill never properly leveled up to prevent crushing blows :)
That explains why the attack was a crushing blow, but why does he get hit with 3 crushes simultaneously? Gor'Tesh does not have Windfury as an ability. I think it's a bug. You see it happen in the previous episode as well when the guy gets deleted by the Coral shark.
@@mattclark7825 he has trash ability. a lot of ogre mobs have trash and also the parry haste. basically you need to level up your defense even as a hunter otherwise it is deadly eventually in a very fast way. love HC.

If he heals the warrior, but the warrior doesn't tank the mobs and continues running, he gets aggro from all the mobs in an instant. No idea what the warrior was planning to do, but he played (and died) like an absolute madman. Didn't even make it halfway out too. Warrior also could've used the water to reset the mobs he pulled, but he committed on running ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

really depends on the hour you re connecting. I mostly had no queue so far, but sometimes it seems to take 1 hour to connect
It's the perfect time to start actually. I only started a few days ago and as the other dude wrote I had a one hour que at around eight in the evening. It's booming right now as people are dying and going straight back in.
Remember to send most of your gold to an alt so that on dying it's not all lost. Making a rogue alt right now.
