@@8bitorgy Can't use traps in combat, his pets dead, he's out of mana and we watched him click a health potion. The real question is why didn't he just autoshoot the thing. It's at such low health that it should be moving pretty slowly. He could have just ran a bit further and shot it. I'd hope he wasn't doing melee only otherwise he's been wasting mana on Hunter's Mark. The fact that he put on Aspect of the Cheetah while the mob was already in melee range hitting him was just bonus.

@@zachfern3190 Great, no one said it was? My original comment was directed to someone asking why he didn't just trap the thing and they just deleted the comment. Also, he has no weapon skill so it almost certainly wouldn't have hit anyway and he only had enough mana to use it once, which he wasted on using Aspect of the Cheetah on a mob already hitting him in melee. At the start of the clip, we see the guy actively decide not to auto-shoot the mob, swap to aspect of the monkey and go to melee the mob with swords at 115. The mob is level 29. 29x5 = 145, meaning he's at least 20 weapon skills off of being able to regularly hit the mob with melee hits.

On top of that, his defence was 5 levels lower as well. So he was getting crit and hit as though the creature was 8 levels higher instead of just 3.

That's what panic mode does, the priest totaly forgot Mor'ladim is undead, i can even see 'Shackle Undead' on his bar. You can cast at least 3 times (even in crappy gear) before your health bar runs out. ;)

This is a half false statement as the Paladins' Turn Undead (which is a fear) works :p
It is pretty handy to solo Mor'ladim at lvl 33 for the Achievement!

he was in a area with neutral faction guards, its just a bug that can happen because of being neutral
Dueling around guards is a bad idea in general. As one guy said, rep can play a part, but even when friendly, I just wouldn't do it.
Well, I wouldn't do it in HC, period, but that's me. So many die to duels from falling, or campfires, or mobs.

If theres any takeaway from bing watching all theses hc deaths is that you should bind your abilities, zoom out the camera, and be aware of elite mobs that path in a zone (stitches is just the beginning)
And don't forget the nameplates
What happened in that duel? Was it a misdirect?
If you win a duel near guards that you're neutral with, the guards will attack you. Always make sure you're at least friendly.

Can you, without looking it up, see what the base resist chance against +8 levels is?
heck, can you tell even WITH looking it up?
@@quineloe I was curious from this comment so I looked it up, after 3 levels above the chance to miss/resist increases by 11% for each level. So +8 levels would be 72% chance to resist :)

Many of these deaths were well deserved for people just being really bad at this game. It does, however, create great entertainment value seeing these clips (even if things like opening blood of heroes is done for the reaction/views). :)

Other warriors doing way more damage than winter and are lower on threat. Seems like that warrior needs to watch their threat.

@@stefbtw355 Or hitting a maul, then missing. Bear in classic doesn't really have many options if they miss a maul since Mangle isn't a thing until TBC. And tanks on Firemaw wear a lot of FR so his hit was probably really low.
That priest spamming himself with renew that's already active instead of shielding himself or using flash... some people don't deserve to hit 60
fun fact: Samuraijoy the dueling rogue appealed this death and in the appeal actually stated he *knew* weird shit like this can happen at Ratchet docks and YET he still duels there.

don't get too comfortable, pay attention to stuff around you definitely
be concentrated and understand if you already have the knowledge to do this the right way. being a person that plays this game for many years is not what is requeired to do this. being rank 1 or having crazy retail knowledge wont help you here at all
The hunter died at 9:30 because he didn't have defense/melee skill leveled. Level your defense skill, people

There’s really no point in sinking hours into a HC character right now since HC servers are releasing soon. I hopped back on wotlk it’s been fun
Soon in Blizzard terms could be 6 to 8 Months.
the official server is going be a completely different experience. the official server will most likely allow: trading, AH, grouping, redungeoning, griefers being able to die with no repercussion, and asking for help! ... you could wait for it, but everyone doing it now are the real MVP/crazies

@@quickcar5255 Oh I'm not saying either of them played well at all. I'm just trying to point out that after the healer went above a certain threat threshold from healing himself their chance of survival was very low since the warriors taunts would have a high likelyhood of being resisted

Probably because the instance was completely neutered after 2 of those 19 years and has been baby mode for babies for most of its existance.
