Quite right. In episode one and two I camp and ride the Magruder. For normal travelers it is a dead end though. There is no thru traffic. Thanks for watching. I’m hunkered down for the winter in Florida planning more adventures out west.
Once again JR fantastic commentary and video. The lookout view was suberb. Gonna be in VA next week to visit my daughter in RIC. Moved to the west coast but miss the east coast. I saw you did some gravel road local rides near Skyline drive. Used to cycle on the BRP and Skyline drive. Keep up the great content. Your homemade maintenance tube is genius!!
Just purchased my first bike. I'm pretty handy, but still don't know motorcycles. Any advice on what tools and knowledge to bring while going into the backcountry alone? Husqvarna FE 501
Nice light bike. . .Watch videos dedicated to the subject. Tire repair tools and ability to fix flats. Work on the bike at home and note what tools were required and create a kit with those. Zip ties, JB Weld, Gorilla Tape, wire.. Extra fuses. A spare clutch lever has saved me before but you can get carried away. Hope this helps.
Wonderful place, very good music. Have a great lunch
Many thanks
One of the best videos I've seen on the WY BDR. Nice work and thank you for posting.
Thank you! Quite a compliment and I appreciate it.
Loved the view from the lookout ,and a nice trail to ride . Cool place to finish the day .Pete Western Australia
JR,Elk City is not a dead end, that is where you get on the Magruder corridor to Darby Mt,keep up the great Vids,I hope winter is kind to you!

Wonderful. Thank you for the ride.
Really glad you enjoyed. Thanks

Thanks. Good memories.
What a great series of videos, keep up the great work
Glad you like them!
Another great video
Nice. Looked like a GREAT day out on the dusty trail. Thanks for sharing. Thinking the WY BDR might be my first bdr, love that Big open
country.
Big and open for sure. Small window of rideable weather but worth it.
Might add, subscribe if you haven’t as I will be posting the ride sections 7 south through 2 in up coming videos. Gives a good perspective.
Another great video! Wondering what gearing you run on the DR when riding off-road. You drop to a 14 tooth drive gear up front?
Yes I did on this trip and I like it. Standard on the rear.
