      As this is in my city in Australia, I was watching this MORTIFIED. At the big reveal, I felt so much better. And yes, our local paper is scummy enough to print that kind of thing without verifying it with the customer. My best guess is the man is from A Current Affair; a national TV show that's been running since the 70s that investigates local stories and issues, with an overall air of 'standing up for the little guy'. I don't like the show much because they have a tendancy to encourage the community to judge people before they face any sort of trial and because the reporters will sometimes harass the subjects of their articles in public areas, but this would absolutely be the type of story they would investigate

    Just so you know, the first one probably wasn't due to dyslexia, but dialect and hearing. At that time (before emails) you would phone the newspaper to put in an ad like that. @@dmgroberts5471 It would be "accidental" because the briefcase can only knock you out, not kill you, but falling into the ocean unconscious "accidentally" did drown him.
      Slightly more context: Anything thrown in HITMAN follows the target until contact is made, but this didn't become _obvious_ until the briefcase returned in HITMAN 2 and people noticed it would curve around corners, because due to its size, it moved more slowly than, say, a hammer and took longer to reach the target. As the OP here points out, the bug got patched, but the devs "unpatched" one particular briefcase, made it _even slower_ so it will follow the target for a longer time (resulting in the jetski clip), and put it in the game as an unlockable item. Oh, I love IO Interactive. 😁

    Can we talk about those boxers for a second? What the one did, kissing his opponent, is one of the oldest, dirtiest tricks in the book. It is usually meant to enrage the opponent so they fight out of anger and lose focus, ultimately losing. That judge with the kid... he's a legend and has/had a TV show.
    I remember reading about another case where he had a little girl decide if her mother should be fined or not, and when she answered honestly he made the fine something like half of what it was, and to be paid by buying the girl dinner - because at some point the judge asked what the girl had for breakfast or maybe lunch, and the girl answered "nothing". The judge realized that with a mother who wasn't exactly rich, a big fine was likely going to mean that the court would basically be taking food out of the girl's mouth.
    Those lids and the air.... I can explain that. The reason they're doing that is because I shouldn't have left those airblowers in the same place where I put the hostages.

    As a gas station employee... That clip with the kids pouring out gaseline on the ground just gives me a headache. Yes they have a stopper and it is activated by contact. Meaning if you just leave it hanging so will it never get into contact with the sensor.... Especially problematic on newer cars with anti fuel thieft protection that causes the sensor to get splashed when you stick it fully in....
    So when you attach the fuel gun partly in. Hanging and un-watched... This is a potential outcome.
    As for cleaning it up. For that amount is to dump a oil absorber. Wait and collect into a bucket and transport for chemical waist desposal. Assuming nothing left the station and into the local ground water. At that case it is a serious "shit happend" moment and frankly I would go home and cry if I worked there.

    I think the banging sewer lids is due to rainwater that is flowing through the pipe very fast and pushing air upwards, normally those lids are locked by twisting them a bit to prevent that or that water pushed up, if they are open like that is can happen that air get trapped and lift the lids and water can even be ejected upwards.

    For the Gaz spilling video here's a insight: It's actually prohibited to be in your car while filling it, for this exact scenario. As a assistant manager of a Gaz station, me and my manager would probably not be happy. The employee should have stopped the flow of Gaz when the client entered the car. This is dangerous, they would need to displace de car, without starting the engine, and then call the eco-center for the spill after stopping all pumps. Under 1 gallon we are mandated to clean it up with the right products (some sort of liter for Gaz), but above 1 gallon it's environmental issue and there are pros we need to call. I hope these girl won't argue they won't pay the spilled amount, sorry girls, but it was your own fault for not being responsible.

    • @StoicVeR
      @StoicVeR 2 года назад +94

      It's always pretty shit of people to stick in the nozzle and then wander off when gas is going, aside from the obvious spillage. People typically wander off from the pump to go do a shoppy or a bathroom break, meanwhile 3 or more people have to camp by the pumps waiting for someone to get their shit together and relocate. But the eco clean, yeah, y'know some dumbass would stand over that puddle with a lit cigarette because everyone thinks the lit cigarette is the problem, but the fumes coming off that gaz is also very flammable.

      Ok, I have a question about this. Where I am, gas pumps have a trigger you have to hold in order for the gas to flow. If you let go, it stops. Is that not the case in the states? How does the gas keep flowing?

    • @riveramnell143
      @riveramnell143 2 года назад +106

      @@comedyblastYT In the states, because we are lazy, we don’t want to have to hold the handle the whole time so there is a little lever thing that you put up so that it holds the handle down for you. However, when the nozzle detects that the tank is full, it knocks the lever down, the handle falls, and the gas stops. The nozzle in this case clearly malfunctioned but you’re also not supposed to leave it pumping unattended for this exact reason.

Asked him what would cause the lids to do that & he said could be a lot of rain would fill up the system & force the air out. Could be a big change in air pressure between outside & inside system could also do it. He wouldn't suggest having any sparks around it, could be a build-up of gasses in the system escaping.

    To be fair, in Japan, it is VERY common to see "No foreigners" as an exclusion on rental and land buying agreements. The rationale for the renter exclusion is "What would stop the foreigners from skipping out on the last month's rent and leaving the country so we can't pursue losses. Not sure what the excuse against land buying is, since that seems to be regional and dependent on the individuals/companies selling the land. (IE: I didn't see any specific laws excluding foreign buyers except in specific cases like tax evasion, buying up ALLLL the lands, etc)
    The point being; Everyone sucks a little. lol
    **Edit** Omg, that poor guy!! lol. I mean, he is a bit difficult to understand, but that is hilarious. Oh goodness, I hope he didn't receive too much hate over that. It also explains why he said bluntly "I just don't like dealing with Asians/Agents."

So, it's OK for landlords to demand an extra month's rent as a forced thank you gift, but the risk that they may skip out of paying their last prepaid month is too high?

Plus trump, through his son in law, Jared kushner, was selling something they deemed the "Golden Visa", where essentially if people from this rich Chinese group were to buy an insane amount of real estate at cheap prices thru kushner, then they were guaranteed to get approved for fast tracking Visas and citizenship. We would normally leave it unlocked while we were there, and they eventually figured that out. Of course, we heard them come in - horses aren't very loud on saw dust, but once they moved onto the wooden floor, it was quite apparent.
    One of them eventually figured out that it is the noise, though. So, she started moving more carefully. And slowly, one step after the other.
    Didn't help, hoof on wood is still very loud, but she did identify the problem and tried to solve it.

    So because everything looks wet i would guess there was a flash storm, and the manhole covers cover some kind of drain tunel. Flash storm would also explain why are they bouncing. There was simply so much water in short time, it filled the tunel up fully and it's pushing air in front of it

      @@LillyP-xs5qe Just because it's a clear sunny day where you are doesn't mean there can't be a downpour upstream. Depending on the draining system it could be from far away, just a wave rushing downwards.
