As a past sanger how has since been an alcoholic among other things this brings me to tears remembering the days when I was singing. Thank you for posting this.
my friends and i had a sectional in our hotel rooms on friday afternoon to try and memorize this beast.... and it apparently worked!! :)) this was such a fun song!!
I was in the New York All-State Mixed Choir and Sandra Snow was conducting the Women's Choir. After the last Women's Choir rehearsal, I awkwardly walked up to her and asked if I could have her autograph on my All-State folder. Once she signed and walked away I was jumped up and down because I was so star struck!
Congratulations tho the kids and the conductor. As Georgian i can say, that not everyone can sing Georgian songs so beautiful. Thanks and keep going. Good luck to everyone.
I really enjoyed listening to this choir.. all of their songs.. so mature and rich.. not like most high school airy kids!! They actually sing with feeling!
@SBskater2012 Wow, no one has answered your question!! If you still wanted to know, the order was: Star Spangeld Banner, Sing Joyfully, Cantate Domino, Jubilate Deo, Gloria, Sanctus, Doluri, Hard Times, Dan-u-el, I Am In Need of Music and Dona Nobis Pacem. :)
weren't we good?? that song was a beast though.....memorizing that song was not easy....i cant wait for this year....gonna be my third time in this choir.....tenor 1's rule!!
Omg this was sooooo much fun sing but tough to memorize...Dr.Snow was the best clinicians I have ever had
