@@Dankmus That's good stuff- the heart was one of the reasons classic Simpsons was so amazing, and it often ended up making the funny parts funnier by contrast.

Seriously though, even 4 years later, this still hits the emotional centre like a runaway train. All without lyrics and with just a relatively simple melody; this remains one of the most impactful Simpsons edits out there.

I’m not gonna make a dank joke this time, instead i’m gonna kinda talk about the episode.
This episode was basically one of the first times Lisa could relate to someone. Bergstrom was kind of like a second parent for her, or an ideal friend. But in the end, he leaves, and it’s really sad because to her, he was her best friend. This was definitely one of of the sadder and more in-depth episodes of The Simpsons, and definitely one of the better episodes in general because of the connection between Lisa and Bergstrom, and it’s always hurts to see the scene where he leaves.
You got that right. I always feel like I have an onion tied to my belt when I watch this episode.
Yeah, but what makes it even better is that even though Mr. Bergstrom is the linchpin of the episode, the whole thing is actually about Lisa's relationship with Homer.
As much as I love the train scene, what really gets me is the fallout and resolution back at home.

Mr. Bergstrom briefly makes an on camera appearance in a much later episode but no lines are spoken where he comes to the simpsons for dinner.
.... and then fast forward a couple of years and she had that episode where she related to Lady GaGa. How the mighty have fallen.

I love this, I never thought I'd want a serious Simpsons remix but this almost brought me to tears remembering this episode. I'd be pretty happy with a few more feels tracks like this

Hey it's cool to hear a song without the samples! You've got lots of talent as an artist, even without any (audio) Simpsons references.
He post some "instrumental" version of the other ones on soundcloud and yes, they are equally incredible without being Simpsons memes, but this one in particular is so amazing because it's still somehow exactly about this episode of the Simpsons even without a single sample from it.

I'm new to the channel, but I've gone through every video now, and this one is easily my favourite, man. I think my absolute favourites are French Fries, Blurst of Times, Drinkypoo, I love Patty, and finally, this one.
This one to me is like... A cry from the soul, if that makes any sense. It starts chill with just his introduction, him kinda bursting onto the scene and entering Lisa's life, then it just explodes upon seeing the mocking image of him, an early sour impression of him, like "No, this isn't right, this isn't who he is, or who he will be to me, no one understood and felt about him like he felt to me. He's a person who understood me, who's leaving, who I miss."
Then it cuts to some clips and highlights, of the type of things that made him different, and made her like him, like his different teaching style and his dad not fully understanding her.
Then we cue in some softer/sweeter instruments that make you feel nostalgic and warm inside, and communicate the tender feelings Lisa had for Bergstrom, and in the background show off a sweet scene, a crowning jewel in a way, of the type appreciation and such that Lisa got from him, and why she cherishes him.
Then immediately contrast Lisa looking up at him smiling, with her frowning, as she's cut off with the door slamming. We get reminded that that's in the past, and that we're in the present, and get with that sort of anguished scream sound again, as the train starts to take off, and as Lisa starts to get tears in her eyes as she's given the note and told farewell. More running after the train, more goodbyes from Bergstrom as the train finally rushes away, and Lisa is left alone, with the note: "You are Lisa Simpson". Love yourself, and rely on yourself.
Now, I haven't actually seen this episode before, nor much Simpsons in general. But I love your videos and songs anyway, man, and I luckily do know the general outline of this episode all the same. And I think you captured a lot of what makes it great, and a lot of the feelings that are mixed in in both this episode, and experiences like this in real life. And it resonates very very strongly in me in this song.
And I have to say thank you for making awesome tracks like this, and like all the others, they are such bops. I want you to know you're appreciated, and that I look forward to anymore music you make in the future, and yes, I did hear abut the break, so don't worry. I wish the best for you in general.

Keep coming back to this one. Just watched the episode it's from again. You do it justice and more. Personally, I still feel this is your best work on your channel. I especially like how there's such a strong sense of melancholy, despite the choice of synths which are often used for a more upbeat, energetic sound.

This is basically the episode condensed into two minutes
I gotta say, this was a weird one. Why? Because I kinda thought this one would have the audio from the episode, like all of the other ones but, I do love the instrumentals in this one, especially. So, great job!
I went through the ep a whole bunch of times looking for references but then I realised a lot of it is sold with the animation. Even the big one “You Are Lisa Simpson” is silent. So I thought to try with only the video too.
But I knew it was going to be a controversial one! Funny, my least viewed vid is my Skinner and Patty track and that too has no quotes in it.
