Meet Karyn Wittek, a professional Thoroughbred trainer based in Kentucky who grew up on Staten Island in New York City. She developed her horsemanship skills under the guidance of top trainers like Larry Jones and Mark Casse, gaining valuable experience in the industry.
Karyn is also passionate about Thoroughbred aftercare, having competed four times in the Thoroughbred Makeover with horses she personally bred and trained. She strives for her dedication to the welfare and retraining of retired racehorses to shine through in her work and be an advocate for second careers in the Thoroughbred community.
