When you started mangling the pronunciation of Nuneaton, I was preparing to leave a negative response, but I persevered and in the end, you did a pretty good job. Nun. Eaten.
For all those questioning pronunciations etc, this is an AI voice narrator, also seems to be written by AI, this is why they can output so much content so quickly. Kinda tired of these channels, RUclips needs to take them all down. :(
Man I could listen to this all day! You should consider starting a Spotify podcast and just upload the audio versions of these video there. Really look forward to your future videos! Keep up the good work!
The driver was blamed but the express was running at speed under clear signals over a stretch of track that could have been subject to a series of 'yellow' aspects to enforce a speed check: all there was to remind the driver of the dangerous situation was a trackside lamp that had gone out.
I have a bit of advice to offer you. I notice that you have not replied to any of the comments which suggests that you have not read them? This is a mistake as feedback is very useful in helping you to perfect your videos. Everyone has noticed the appalling pronunciation which is due to the AI being used and if you value that feedback it will help you to perfect what is actually a very well researched and presented video.
Sorry, but this computer-created voice constantly mispronouncing simple words is unbearable. I had to cease watching this video after just two minutes!
I know a lot of UK place names are hard to figure out but I never thought Nuneaton was one of them! Is there are an American Nuneaton pronounced like that? This is a great video though.
Of all places to butcher the name of Nuneaton is the last I was expecting. But to be fair this town is that insignificant, modern day dump with nearly every small store closed last time I was there.
Nuneaton is pronounced NUN-EAT-ON ! Of course ALL train crashes in Britain were in British Railways days investigated by HMRI (Her Majesties Railway Inspectorate) who were usually Major's or Colonel's seconded from the Royal Engineers of the British Army. And the in depth detailed results always Published through HMSO (Her Majesties Stationary Office), with copies available to anyone (although there was usually a charge of around £10). Indeed copies are probably still available even today, for that incident.
@@arthurrytis6010 Your were a BR Driver ? Indeed I had a French Inspector and three French Drivers in my cab, before the then Channel Tunnel Waterloo terminal opened. As they were having to learn the route in British Style from Waterloo to Clapham Junction ! Backwards and forwards they went all day, and were none the wiser. "Too many Signals Monsieur", the Inspector chortled !
@railwaymechanicalengineer. I was a driver at Euston This guy Major Points was quite good to talk to, there was another one who was very standoffish didn't know his name. I never had anybody from HMRI ride in all the years I was a secondman and my time driving till I got to Euston.
I was going to correct your pronunciation of Nuneaton, but considering I pronounce it "Nu-new-tun", I guess I'm not one to talk XD. Still, great documentary! Covers all the required details in an honest but neutral manner.
Where exactly is Nunny Aton .....I gave up....clearly a commentary by an Ammer Econ who has no concept of the English written language Inspector Clouseau would be impressed !!

That pronunciation of Nuneaton is arguably the biggest tragedy featured in this video....
what a train wreck of computer speech.
I love the video. Thanks for putting it up.

This.
Where he chose to put a full stop is his own business. Stop trying to be clever.
This is why we shouldn’t be worried about AI taking over

"None Eaten" - how hard is it to say that. I have friends who were there at the scene shortly after it happened.
You are wrong. Nun e ton
Yes if it was a video about an American rail crash the Yanks would be screaming their t**ts off about any mispronounced name of American towns
Their t*ts off? Really!

Totally can't understand half of the comments due to Computer language. Rubbish.

If you watch video with subtitles on the refer to London Euston Stn as "Housten " !
I like this channel. Thank goodness for human voices willing to create and read content. Continue to work on pronunciations and you’ll do great 😊
Leicester, Gloucester, Worcester I can understand being mispronounced, but Nuneaton, lol
I have never heard anybody pronounce my hometown so wrong before. It's pronounced Nun - eat - ton.
I went to the accident site around 9am.....

@railwaymechanicalengineer. Believe me or not I had a hmri inspector ride with me a couple of times. His surname was Points . Major Points.

@@arthurrytis6010 Indeed you should have added "Officer pips" to your BR Drivers Jacket !
And yet 'Leicester' was pronounced correctly: it often comes out as 'Lie-cester'! 😂 Noony-atton. 🤣🤣🤣
Nuneaton is pronounced "None Eaten", not "Noon E At On". Other than that great documentary.
Houston is in Texas, not London.
