Luke, this style of realtime driving with commentary really is superb. I know I've said this before but if I had any say, they would be compulsory viewing as part of the standard car driving test. They teach looking well ahead, hoping for the best whilst planning for the worst and driving with consideration. I have driven probably around 1M miles in my time, all in cars and having watched you for a few months now I have an understanding of the issues for drivers of different types of vehicles that I could have done with years ago. Thank you!
As others have said, it could be the tracker or it could be the front collision detector. I drive an Iveco hi way and that sometimes goes off when it thinks I am getting close to a stationary object even though I am turning away.
Great video-love the ongoing commentary. Saw an S-Way in the flesh for the first time the other day on the M6 and it looked really smart-great truck you've got there!
Love the look of the new dashboard mate. It’s very clear. This white light is great to drive at night time with isn’t it!?! Hope you’re well. All the best and look forward to seeing the next POV video. Drive safe
love the pov but can i ask to see more of the head movements ie mirror checks and stuff like when your checking out a round about on approach is there any way you could do that so we see what you see. keep up the good work
Your pinging could be a tracking device so your company knows where the truck is in case of emergency. I do have one in my car which does the same thing when I start it.
Could the noise be a tracker you boss fitted that chimes whenever you enter or leave a certain area, it makes sense with the yard as it’s, well… the yard, but Tetbury is an odd one
Has the truck got a built in satnav? Probably saying a special permit is required to drive in the yard and at tetbury, the one in my scania does it in some industrial areas
Well sorry but your POV is just like a normal vlog, look my understanding about POV is that people want to experience what it is like to be a HGV driver and so the camera has to be on your head so that they understand just how many times you look at the mirrors and the gauges and traffic, what you have shown is a camera strapped to your chest its like if it is fixed to a bunk or the side of your chair,
I know Luke I used to be a HGV1 driver but they want to see what it is like and yes the camera is going all over the place and yes for me not much good @@lukecinahgv
@lukecinahgv I love povs especially in trucks you're certainly sat high up I don't think it's as high as sitting up on a top deck of a double decker bus right ?
@@stephenlong5065ye but saying "I hate povs they look mad" by all means that's your opinion like luke says other people like me enjoy it. I saw the comment negative hence why I said that. Plus luke only hearts comments if there nice and respectful yours wasent hearted so that means....do do doo
Obviously there's going to be to much dashboard it's a truck. Also of course the camera is going to be bouncy because of the potholes and bumps in the road.

Night time driving is my favourite thing to do, so relaxing. Keep the POV's coming
Thanks mate
Another great video Luke, these are a real treat. Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to film and edit them.

Hi Luke, enjoying the POV. Great content keep it coming 👍🏻
I really liked this nighttime PoV. Thanks Luke
Loving the Pov's and non Pov's.. Great to have a variety.. Lovely video
Enjoyed the POV and commentary - thanks! Good to know I'm not the only one driving around at stupid o'clock in the morning 🙂
drive thru for trucks is a great idea, i'd put on so much weight 😄
Love the look of the new dashboard mate. It’s very clear. This white light is great to drive at night time with isn’t it!?!

Drive safe
I enjoy POV better than looking at anybody's mug...LOL 😂
Enjoyed that keep up the good work.
Thanks Luke, that was very interesting. I always prefer driving at night, you stand a better chance of seeing vehicles before you get too close.
Really enjoy these videos they are something different keep them coming
Definitely like this pov , good picture quality
Thank you 👍👍
Enjoy the pov's Luke. Bring on more.
Nice POV Luke, thanks 👍👍

He would need to put go pro on his head
Nooooo some have done that and it's quiet sickening 🤢
Really interesting POV Luke
POV is awesome, deffo my favourite
Your pinging could be a tracking device so your company knows where the truck is in case of emergency. I do have one in my car which does the same thing when I start it.
I bet you're glad you didn't get up even earlier. For no reason. And the camera angle is bang on Luke 👍
Could the noise be a tracker you boss fitted that chimes whenever you enter or leave a certain area, it makes sense with the yard as it’s, well… the yard, but Tetbury is an odd one
I think the noise might be something to do with the tracker, activating when you leave & deactivating when you return
I had a noise like that on my truck when I went in and out of the yard I found out it was the tracker turning on and off
Really like that POV night time video well done 👍👍👍
Has the truck got a built in satnav? Probably saying a special permit is required to drive in the yard and at tetbury, the one in my scania does it in some industrial areas
Yes it does mate. Could be correct there.
Thanks for the videos. I assume the warning noise could be mentioned in the vehicle handbook? Are you assuming that it's not safety related?
This is a Brilliant view
spot on Luke
Another great video.
love the pov luke it's like playing ets2 lol
Glad you enjoy it!
Will you be happy with new DAF 2023 XG plus or your current truck I****
Do you use ‘that ‘ roundabout and how do you do it in an Article?
I like the POV vids.
And now I feel the need to fire ETS2 up 😂
What do you do with the old trucks
Great POV video. Would like more night time please Great video
A very good Tuesday evening to you sir
I think you deffo need a "snug" counter. just had to slide one in there at the end even on a POV vid 🤣
Well I have seen several videos of tanks using the Maccies drive thru.
A double decker bus hit that bridge a couple of years ago, took the roof off.
My cousin was jogging through as it happened.
Loved it another great vid.
No matter what time you start you will come upon traffic.
If you have a really early start and want to be on time with not extra turnovers in bed!! - sleep in the truck overnight
Tracking

I agree, but a lot of people find that very disorientating and unpleasant to watch

🚛👍👍
What is POV mean
Point Of View
Ask ur boss if he did put a tracker in ur truck.. so he can see when u left the yard and when u came back. Maby thats the sound
Sorry it makes me 🤮🤢🤢🤮🤮🤧
Why are hgv drivers going POV camera angle mad , don't like it , shall not watch POV anymore.
I still have my normal ones on weekends 👍🏻 whilst I understand you’re not a fan, there are people who are.

This POV is really poor for two reasons, 1 it shows to much of the dash, 2 your still bouncing up and down like a rubber duck in the bath . 😒
But that’s the point of point of view, it’s my view. It’s what I see
Obviously there's going to be to much dashboard it's a truck. Also of course the camera is going to be bouncy because of the potholes and bumps in the road.

You asked for good or bad comments 🤭
Yes. And I’ve responded 😂
Good or bad, I still respond
Fair play to ya not many youtubers do they all expect 5 star positive comments or they don't bother responding at all 😊
