Going back from HAWAII to my home now, MAUPITI in French Polynesia. Your art is so inspiring that I gathered dot-grid sketchbooks (cheating a bit) and a set of good pencils and pens to go sketch out there. I used to do so in Medical School in the 60’s, but let it down thereafter. I am getting back into it now with a PASSION, at 77 years of age. Mauruuru roa, thank you very much, my friend. If you ever travel to Tahiti, come visit us in Maupiti!
Thank you, it’s inspiring for me too, to get comments like yours, is never late for doing what is passionate for us! Keep practicing, enjoy the process more than the results
The pen, at the very begining of this clip, the architectural sketch artist is using is called a " Graphix Line Maker. " It's lightweight. Design implaments include a nib view port, refillable ink reservoir, and polygonal top and plastic fittings. This pen tests linemaking ability and builds drafting speed. Consider this as a recommendation you can use the next time you're in the mood to buy a new writting tool to quickly sketch and build with. ✌
Hey, good job! Keep it going! And could you please add an amount of spent hours in the description? It helps to realize amount of real work both to artists and to common viewers ;)
Sir, it's beautiful and you are incredibly talented with the renderings. It would be a big help if you could do a video on what kind of copic markers or other markers to use for these renderings and what shade numbers are relative to each other
+Samira Ahsan absolutely! I will do it, but please also don't forget that all supplies used in my latest videos are detailed in the video description correspondent to every sketch
Sir I like your videos you are doing great job👍. I have a question Do Architects draw their project drawings in perspectives? And then after that architects made the same drawing through some softwares? Anybody can answer me?
Did you use a ruler to draw your straight edges and lines of the house? Your lines are perfection! You draw like you are an architect or draftsman. Just wanted to compliment you on your drawing. Also, this house, of Frank Lloyd Wright’s is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your rendition of it.......I would love to see it in person and paint it in plein-aire.
Hi. I am so glad i found you channel. Since this date i nearly illustrated every day and the improvements are incredible. Could you show us your camera setup? I am currently searching for a cheap tripod for these overhead shots. How do you manage to film your table? Keep up the great work. I really benefit from your uploads.
+#Y0u0nlyLif30nc3 #Yolo I started with a small camera canon powershot elph 360, a cheap tripod and a selfie stick to position the camera just above my paper, try it is simple, but it works with small cameras not so heavy
arielbrindissketch ok thx. I was asking since there is no actual 'I wanna film my desk' tripod solution on the market. Unfortunately my canon 70d is quite heavy and I guess I have to try another solution...
What medium are you doing this on? I remember as a young kid I had a friend whose father was an architect. When he was in school in Syracuse he did a perspective of the Parthenon. I was mesmerized by that drawing and inspired me to have a career in architecture.
Thank you Sir, After I read your reply I thought "Hmmm maybe I'll not say thank you...Instead I'll tell him that I did great as a gratitude." and yes I made one Indeed you will get better in whatever you do if you put your mind and heart to it... Thank you Sir love you and your vids. More power to you 😊
well, this would be my advise: get to know the principles of perspective, use them in every sketch, copy from life and pictures before creating, and the most important thing to do, practice maddly.

Sir I like your videos you are doing great job👍. I have a question
Do Architects draw their project drawings in perspectives? And then after that architects made the same drawing through some softwares?
Anybody can answer me?
I think there are many ways of working but certainly the first ideas are hand drawn most of the time, as project specification advance cad gets in

Thank you, most of my sketches are done without a ruler, is practice and years of drawing

Alcohol markers on marker paper
awesome sir ... !!! sir can we draw this sketch with 2 point perceptive method ?
Pathik Patel this sketch is with 2 point perspective, I just assume the vanishing points are outside my paper
Great skills and wonderful sketch! Can I ask how much time did it actually take?
Like an hour an a half
Я вами восхищаюсь! (Russian)

Any tips for if you wanna start drawing like this?
well, this would be my advise: get to know the principles of perspective, use them in every sketch, copy from life and pictures before creating, and the most important thing to do, practice maddly.
Thank you for this video sir! Btw, what paper do you usually use when you use markers?
+paige ph hi, I usually work on marker paper, marker pads A3 from canson or copic
Круто, ничего не скажешь
Hi, beautiful sketch! which kind and brand of colors you used for the drawing?
I used Kurecolor, copic and Pantone tria markers . Look for the colors in the video description
arielbrindissketch thank you very much
How do you get the idea of those designs you draw? Any tips? Btw I’m a freshman Architecture student from Philippines. Just wanna learn, Thanks😊
this is a classic architectural house, design by Frank LLoyd Wright, other sketches got inspired in other architects or projects
Which pen you used for colour.?
Amazing! I wonder what kind of markers are you using? they don't look like the standard copic markers.
+Christina Nanopoulos I use prismacolor, Pantone tría and copic, all of them are alcohol based markers
Could someone make a list of everyone pen he uses for the sketch ?
muy bueno
Waw😍
