    It’s sad that hand drawing and rendering is becoming a lost art. Computers have become the focus in most interior design and architecture courses.

    • @FizzWizardHD
      @FizzWizardHD 6 лет назад +4

      People have no patience anymore, they want it now, they don't want to wait a couple days or a week for something someone can do easily on a computer.

      Absolutely true, people are commonly obsessed with 3d visuals than freehand sketching.

      Matthew James not entirely true... this is what I do as a career. I’m an architectural illustrator (in-house) and this is exactly the sort of work I produce. It’s the reason my boss hired me. It is time consuming, yes, but it’s always well received 😊

    • @Matthew_James
      @Matthew_James 5 лет назад +5

      Felicity it’s nice to know that there are still firms out there who take the time to allow artistry in the workplace. I only know of one or two design firms in my city where hand rendering interior perspectives are used as a “final perspective”. The rest use 3DMax exclusively.

Gracias

      Yeah, it is. But I was talking about the final background (scenic).
      And as the 70's animation had a "sketchy appearance" (like "The Rescuers", "Robin Hood" and "Aristocats"), your works would fit perfectly. Actually, one of the main Disney background artists of that time, Ken Anderson, was an architect. A very gifted one. The backgrounds in "101 Dalmatians" were his.
