Wow, that is a blast from the past. Saw all these singers multiple time in Denver in the early to mid 80's. Their music (and so many others from Olivia Records) was such an important part of forming and informing me at the time.
Listening to these lyrics I'm simply floored by how radical they were for the time. Utterly amazing. Literally the creation of something new, something dangerous, something true, the expression of woman loving woman, wow.
So happy to see such a wonderful legacy of womyn’s music in this channel. Such passion, courage and love. Younger generations will never truly understand the importance of this music in sustaining and acknowledging that lesbian lives mattered. 🏳️🌈
Listening to this reminds me of what a powerful, beautiful group of souls you all were who sang to womyn like no one had ever done before. Olivia Records was a defining legacy for those who created music by and for music. I wish I could thank them all, for the impact they had on me in my fledgling youth.
I would sell a kidney to see this entire program! Margie, Meg, and Cris are three of my favorite artists. I'm a music history professor, and I find a way to work at least one of their songs into almost every class I teach.
Each of you were a part of my youth in such a beautiful, artistic and radical way! I believe I was about 22 or so when I first saw you perform at Lone Mt College in San Francisco! And the last time was at IMA in Bodega. Thank you so much for posting this!!! Hope to see you perform live again!

A friend went to see Meg and Chris at Carnegie Hall in '82 and brought me back the CD. I was absolutely entranced. This song was one of my favorites.
Goddess bless the womyn who made sure to roll camera. Thank you. 🙏🏽💛🌺

And how they and their music sustained us who were young lesbians at the time.

Such wonderful memories and sweet voices. Thank you for this!
Oh, the memories…….
I had the opportunity to see Criss and Tret in concert in Columbia SC in 1992 I believe.
❤Margie❤
First heard this song as sung one beautiful soul, Ms Dusty Springfield. Glad to visit your youtube channel and listen in.
Is there anyone who knows if there is a way to know if any of the Olivia folks are speaking, performing?
I know Cris and Tret still perform but sadly not togeather
How long was the TV show that this was a part of? I swear I've been trying to see this for at least 25 years!
Is there anymore footage of this ? X
Yoko and Melissa could have done so much for this Company way back then. But they turned them away.
Stupid stupid stupid.
Olivia Records was amazing, successful, changed so many lives. Every concert I went to was sold out.
