i'm a 14 year old girl who fell in love with Harley's about a year ago. My biggest dream right now is to actually go on a ride at least once in my life. I want to become a rider but my parents are super against motor cycles in general. Nothing will stop me from living my dream.
you start small. from push bike, then dirt bike, then grow a little bit bigger. I never saw a person who has the bike dream never end up on one. So you will be on one.
I am the same age as you and I love harleys I love the sound they make I will be getting one in some years to come
Motorcycles are not just for men. I love seeing a woman follow her passion. Go Girls....

respect, ladies. I ride a lil Yami R3. Harleys intimidate me b/c their weight but maybe one day I'll be confident enough to ride Hubbs' H-D softtail slim.
I love that my nieces ask to go for a ride with me I wish I had the money to rig up a sporster low for the one who wants to learn to ride I'd love to teach her and have her riding on side me with her sister as a backpack as someone who was the black sheep for always loving motorcycles I've also loved seeing female riders much respect and love to all you ladys that throw a leg over and ride be safe and keep it on 2

As a Swedish guy who started to ride in the early 80's, this almost seems a little weird. "Wait, they still have these problems?"
In my circle of friends we've always encouraged the girls to get their own license if they felt like it, and plenty of them have. There was never even a discussion, not even back then.
But I guess it's different with different gangs and in different parts of the world, or something...
They don't still have these problems. It's just a marketing ploy.

+ziiofswe I lived in Deutschland during the 80s and never saw even 1 woman rider. Plenty of women passengers, but never a woman driving her own bike.

Well, I'm going to soon turn 15 in a 2 months and I can't wait to ride with the girls! Just keep doing what you do no matter what anyone says. I've even had teachers and classmates ask me about motorcycles and if I wanted to ride one. Heck yes! My first bike will basically be a Honda Grom and it would be totally fun with such a cute bike. Have fun then! :D
Do it. Do not let anyone say "it's dangerous and you'll die". It's cagers who are dangerous (cars = cagers/Rolling death wagons)
I have 6 bikes. Most are cruisers because I love them. My first bike was a 1981 Yamaha XJ550 Maxim. I still have it. It's special.

I just found out that I can no longer fly. I am buying a "Fat Bob" because it is dangerous. Life isn't worth living if there is no risk. Bikes won't be like my airplane, but the closest I can think of to help LIVE life!
Little bit of advice from a rider ( and fellow WWE fan ) :
1) Take the Basic Riders Course. It's worth it. You'll learn a lot, and have a lot of fun
2) Don't be afraid to start small. Nobody you see on the road today, started with a huge big-twin Harley. There's no shame in riding an 883 Sportster. I did, until I was ready for my Softail.
3) ALWAYS wear a helmet, regardless of laws. A helmet and a motorcycle can be replaced. Your brain can not.
4) Also, always wear long pants, and boots with good tread. Trust me, you do NOT want to touch a hot tailpipe with bare skin. There's nothing cute about a 3rd degree burn.
5) Be safe, cautious, and courteous. Watch for traffic, because they may not watch for you. And always obey posted speed limits.
Above all, though, have fun. There's no experience in life, quite like riding a motorcycle.

ToxicDonut81 Everything in life is a risk; hiking swimming, horse-back riding, sports-etc. But, thrills are what equal living. ~lol~ I've known and met plenty of moms that ride motorcycles. So do plenty of men that are fathers.😉
Fact is, women have been with the right to motorcycles since they were invented back in the 1900's. Not once was there ever a rule against it. I've got a 5-speed shaft-driven 800 Suzuki VL. Nowhere on the title and registration does it say; "for male use only."
Besides, anyone with a functioning brain knows motorcycles are awesome. A kitchen's just somewhere you go to eat food. ~lol~
