I change the 4 middle strings first then the outside pairs to keep the bridge from moving....it makes it easier for me to clean and oil the fretboard.....and keeps the bridge in place.....thanks for the tutorial!
Not really that important. See the David Benedict video on Patreon. He doesn't and it don't truly matter (plus many mandos don't have those extra hook on the tailpiece). However, I've always felt the A and E strings need to be double-wound or kinked over, because they're a thinner gauge. Mando Mike, you didn't do that. Why not? Seems like that's a step that's worth going over or considering

All the hooks on the block are there for a reason. The heavier strings need more support. This is poor instruction.
