I agree! “Yellow Submarine” is a cute, irresistibly catchy children’s song…on the album considered by most Beatleologists to be the group at its *apex* in terms of creativity and working as a group. But placing “Submarine” above “She Said, She Said,” “Eleanor Rigby” and “Tomorrow Never Knows” is just laughable.

A great presentation but I doubt anyone else would have the same order as you have listed here. But, that is not to say you are wrong. It is your list. My list would be 95% different. And I doubt if anyone else would agree with my choices either! That is the legacy of The Beatles music. Such a broad range of songs with such a broad appeal. A million different opinions, each one right in it's own way.
I love Drive my car so much too; the intro, the funky bassline, the clever witty lyrics, the catchy chorus, the vocals and the tongue in cheek ''beep beep''... so much to like about that song, i would put What goes on last.
I think, ~60% of all their songs would make it to a playlist for me. And that is excluding the non-album releases, which arew at an even better percentage for me :)
I know it’s all opinionated, but I was pleasantly surprised to see Across the Universe being ranked first on Let it Be. It’s my favorite song of all time, so I’m glad to see it get the recognition that I think it deserves.

I like the early takes where John and Paul harmonized a little bit that didn’t make it to the final versions. Regardless, I love this song so much.
I wasn't! Across The Universe is THE BEST track on the Let It Be album, so it was ranked where it should rightfully be: #1. Let It Be and The Long And Winding Road are #2 and #3 on the album. Those are the 3 best tracks on that album.
Girl at number five and I’m Only Sleeping at eight. Goodness that hurts, not only is Girl my favourite on Rubber Soul and I’m Only Sleeping my favourite on Revolver, but they are also my top favourite Beatles songs. Good video anyways though.

It seemed reasonable until Rubber Soul. Michelle, the Word, and Drive my Car at the bottom doesn't make sense to me. And What Goes On is clearly the worst song on the album. If they had turfed that song, and instead added Day Tripper / We Can Work it Out, Rubber Soul would be the Beatles' greatest album.

Particularly mother natures son is one of the most beautiful songs Paul wrote, and it’s one of my favourite Beatles songs. And also, pretty much the entire white album is totally wrong.
