Last time I was this excited about a new band was Wolf Alice. Similar trajectory fully expected. Air play needed. Expect Radio X to play its part like they did with Nothing by Thieves, DMAs and Wolf Alice. Great tunes like this deserve to be heard by the herd... Foe context: my first LIVE concert was the 1981 on the CARS "Shake It Up" Tour. I have been into Pop a LONG time... Supported bands, a very long time. This band - Bleach Lab - has now shot themselves into elite status to my pop-loving ears!! I don't know how this band has escaped me since last summer, but in the spring of 2022 -- we've officially met! I'm officially in LOVE with this band!!! Head-Over-Heels, in love. It is unfair for me to try and compare them at this stage to anybody, but themselves. This is an absolute GEM of a song. Every box is checked,. Then there's this other brilliant creative genus detail to go with it - the video.... Oh my, my. my . . . This is so good, that's it's actually horrid! I'm buying everything they put out, and the back catalog!!
This came up on my 'Discover Weekly' on Spotify, in the middle of a bunch of trance and techno. I loved it and checked who it was I was listening to expecting some super famous group and the fact they have 525 subscribers on RUclips is amazing. Definitely a bright future!
Video love and slight disappointment… great song and video but was slightly let down at end. She takes a final picture from the doorway back into the bar as she “moves on” from waiting. The final picture she hangs up should of had her in it! I know she took the photo and it’s not exactly a sixth sense twist but I really wanted that to be the finale …oh and she is so lovely. Get Stephen Street back for more pop tunes please
