As a Veteran, I’ll say color didn’t mean shit in the Army in the early 2000s while I was in. My Drill Sergeant told us we are all one color, green, and I can tell you that when you’re in a foxhole with someone, that man is your brother and vice versa.
Things have changed for the worse since then. Todays forces are severly infiltrated; by gangs, Extremist Religious Groups, and anti white groups. They will use any event to destroy those they hate to include other soldiers.

One was an army Sargent.
One was an army M.P. (military police).
One was state side.

I served 21 years in the Marines. Served in the big lie OIF, have a son in the Corps now (12 years) he just got off recruiting duty….there a deep sad realization that we’ve been let down. Color absolutely doesn’t matter we’re all green, just different shades…Light green and dark green

Its funny whenever i meet a veteran the second i hear semper fi or see any remnant of service I actually feel like talking and greeting my brother the race doesnt matter one bit to me.
100 freakin percent. I have had dozens and dozens of great conversations with former service people of all races - as soon as we recognize each other as veterans, the shared respect is automatic and we talk and laugh about the crap we all went through. I think service should be a requirement for Congress or the Presidency.

My Dad was a CAN Navy, Korean War Vet and he too saw the writing on the wall, over 20 years ago.
I was in the Marine Corps and both my parents were as well. I was born in Camp Lejeune. I wouldn't recommend military service to my family or anyone who asks to the woke policies that are going on now. It's quite sad.

I've heard my friends who are veterans complain about problematic soldiers. I've never even known the race, gender, sex, or religious background of those soldiers. I think it's because they don't care about those things. They only care about whether they can be trusted in the field.
It is not a difference of ideology it is good vs evil it is right vs wrong it is God vs satan. We can no longer compromise with evil if we want our nation to survive.

Yeah Jayne said it best. The migrants we are getting, any documentation they have could be (actually would be) forged so we don't really look at any of it. The people who DO have legal documentation wait in line for years to get in this country (that is unless they can code a computer, operate on your organs, or play a sport.) Otherwise, there is no possible way to check the "background" to see how "clean" it is. And even if we wanted to VET migrants that way, it would be inhumane and voted down by every democrat because those kinds of migrants are not needy and would eventually vote Republican.

During WWII, only about 15-20% of combat veterans actually fired their guns at the enemy with the intention to kill or harm them. Bring in the other modren issues, what % would shoot now?
It was mostly bombing by airplanes and missiles and cannons and tanks but in order to LIBERATE a country/location you need actual soldiers a lot of soldiers.

@@kimocoloma4123 think about it in the Pacic Campaign in WW2, if we had 3,000 troops on an island only about 300 actually tried to kill the enemy. That's crazy, because the Japanese fought to the last man. So many Americans died because the troops could not kill.

There are many phase of the war. Boots on the ground is at the final phase of the war to Liberate or take over a country. I was a member of the Advance Party. We go in way before war started to spy/infiltrate gather info last usually 3-6 months come home submit info and my job for the war is completed.

From first hand experience, I can testify that when you are bleeding out laying in the desert and your limbs are not working. All that matters is that the person to your left and right can help you get behind cover and stop your bleeding. Race,religion, sexuality doesn’t matter. what you want is trust in the people around you to be there when it’s time.

I found an article from November 2023 about a text warning soldiers to be vigilant because of a rally in Minot. It didn't deny anyone their rights to attend, though.
When I got out of the Marine Corps in 1979, with over 9 years of service, it was because of the animosity of the country’s leadership to the military, President Carter and the Democrats in Congress. Just like now.

That's one reason that is not main reason as of recently. I joined in '81 and I've talked to Veterans of WWII, VIETNAM WAR and KOREAN WAR that are doing quite well even better than average American. This recruitment issue is just recently acknowledge. A lot Military people just recently came out because of the mandatory training the government added by means of DEI and ESG.

My sons are the first generation who have not served. All the male members of my family served, for as long as we know. I would never send my sons into the military of today. Our leaders are soft, weak, unrealistic, unreasonable, and completely out of touch. They truly believe we serve them.
These same people would have been against both of my grandfathers who served in WWII.....and against their participating in G.I.bill......just like the Conservatives of their day.
Citadel? Shannon Falkner's fame was her failure in 1994. Many already knew she could not handle it. Her JAG Col daddy forced her UNQUALIFIED application. She dropped out within the first week from lacking fitness preparation. Her fellow cadets saw the publicity gimmick. Her Affirm Act forced her entrance as her lacking CHARACTER could not keep her there. Women were not discouraged. Only qualified CHARACTER could keep pace. Falkner BARELY got in then bailed inside the first week. The same goes for the 2 USMA grads given multiple training attempts at Ranger School while others were washed out from peer conditions. FACTS vs opinion. Oct 1994, USNA grad aviator callsign REVLON was undertrained, wanting to claim being the first woman carrier based aviator. During a flight, her aircraft behaved oddly, causing a ramp strike killing REVLON and severely injuring the RIO due to inability to properly react. Quals and training reqs are in place for a reason.
In Marine bootcamp, the Drill Instructors ingrained in us, "There are no black Marines and there are no white Marines. We are all Green Marines. And if we are shot, we all bleed RED."

Being an Air Force vet and being a missileer (Minuteman 3), my concern was ability, safety, and a good attitude were factors with whom I would work! Color, background, where you are from, or preferred sexual partner didn't mean anything to me.
So why are they wasting time on a topic that no one seems to even care about, like DEI and people’s skin color? Why not talk about something people do care about, like stopping foreign and corporate investors from buying all the single family homes, pushing regular people out, and causing a false bubble? Or talk about holding the price gouging companies responsible for this false inflation? Costco hasn’t raised anything this whole time.
Oh, I know why, because that would actually help the American people and not the republicans corporate overlords. Not to mention, if republicans actually cared enough to help the people that voted for them, it would make Biden look good. And the cult can’t have that!
