People underestimate the power of incorporating their training into their everyday tasks. In fact, I'm not sure real mastery is even possible if you don't do this. Beyond just "getting the reps in" what you are learning how to do is integrate your movements into your life. When you start seeing every aspect of your movement through the lens of the action you're trying to master, you learn that action in a very special way. You're not simply learning it as some sort of appendage, rather you're integrating it in to your normal natural movement, which is what you have to do if you actually want to use it under stress. It has to become the "default," not just an option.
I couldn't agree more. The more you incorporate into everything, the more it becomes greater than something you just do. It becomes something you are, and it'll be there when you really need it. Thank you, truly, for your comment!
I think it’s great. One must practice almost daily to have skills available when needed. I have a daily routine for me, & add dry fire (I’m a firearms instructor)
I find practice of reps in everyday movements as well. Im glad I'm not the only one looking crazy out here. I often open doors with hand and elbow movements or if my hands are busy i use my feet in motions that simulate cross kicking a knee or a sweep or a knee to knee manipulation, etc. i learned how to generate more force in the pensador movements with doors and sign posts, poles, etc. I'm not in the best of shape but i at least practice movements for explosive force, redirection and multi limb use such as when my hands are doing something up high my legs can do actions low. Don't let any critcs tell you it doesn't work. We know it helps build mind and muscle memory even if not against a live opponent
Anyone else get the feeling the background was a green screen for a moment?… lol I know it’s not but man that was kinda tripping me out! Lol Great advice btw! Thank you 🙏

Couldn't agree more. And I think you nailed it, you have a routine for you. It should definitely be personalized, and enjoyable.
