I would rather watch Die Hard 1 as a Christmas movie, than 90% of the drama / love ones out there today.
lol My mom is one of those women who watches the Hallmark Channel all year and every movie pretty much from what I know is just a guy and girl falling in love and having babies. Personally I am not huge into Die Hard but I would rather watch it than Hallmark Channel any day. I do like Home Alone and Jingle All the Way and Elf more than Die Hard but I have seen those so many times I am bored of them too.

Nightwish has a song called "Wish I Had an Angel."
The lyrics include the lines "Old loves, they Die Hard / Old Lies, they Die Harder."
Obviously, that song is about the movie, and since angels are a traditional Christmas tree topper, there's no question Die Hard is a Christmas movie.
