    Though its no longer my daily (EX30), I absolutely love my V1 Master Pro. I find myself genuinely missing its ride feel when I go too long without riding it, so I always find an excuse to pull it out, at least once a week. Best seated experience of all EUCs, best high speed cornering experience, most luxurious ride feel (22" wheel size + suspension), not to mention its no-competition range... its the one wheeled motorcycle many of us have been dreaming of.

    The absolute best thing about this wheel is the high speed cornering, no wheel comes even close to the lean angles that you can get on this wheel due to the high footplates and 22 inch tire

    some very good points there from an experienced and knowledgable rider. I’m still riding stock pads on the V2, original tire too. Time for a change!

  • @mig6220

    I just put my metal packs on... on top of stronger metal caps, they and the spacers are thicker. (EDIT- the pushed out cases makes pedals extremely difficult to put back on with stock bottom pads. Also, with the extra 17lbs, you'll have to firm up the suspension. )
    The battery packs now offer more tire clearance. I couldn't slide my old spacer between the motor and the battery- now it fits and you can twist it.
    That's great if you had rubbing issues, or want to fit wider tires.

    Great vid! was watching it while waiting for mine. I'll admit the sheer size of this wheel had me worried it was gonna be too big, unwieldy or not ideal.
    When I got it, damn, fucking HEAVY. But putting in some time on it, it's awesome. No complaints, even riding with stock pads it feels rather manageable. Every trip to the trail increases my confidence and level of control over it.
    It's a beast of a wheel, not for the faint of heart, but for those who want big and powerful. This is it! It's the only EUC to date where I've felt like I had to *relearn* some aspects of how to ride. it's that heavy. The return of doing that though, is being in perfect control of something with seemingly all upsides and no downsides, with the exception of not fitting under every table.

    Especially V2 is amazing wheel, but too heavy and big for me. Now I have V12HT, but my knees are not happy, I need some proper suspension. I am really looking forward to the Begode Extreme. This 134V 2400Wh seems like ideal replacement :).

    Is it a good beginner wheel?

    • @WheelGoodTime
      @WheelGoodTime  Год назад +1

      The heavier and EUC is, the tougher it will be to learn on. That said, the master pro is the heaviest EUC in the world currently, therefore it will be likely the hardest to learn on as well. You can learn on any EUC, but starting with the heaviest in the world Will be a significant challenge and I don't recommend it for a total beginner.

    • @Aezeus.
      @Aezeus. 9 месяцев назад

      @@WheelGoodTimeI'd just go ahead and supplement this reply with no, don't get it as a beginner wheel.
      It's heavy as fuck. When I got mine (despite being tall and having owned 3 other wheels) I had trouble holding it and dropping it, it was that heavy.
      You get the hang of it and it becomes manageable, but I'm pretty sure every beginner will be done for. It just requires you to learn some skills on top of already existing EUC skills to even ride normally, which just won't work for anyone starting out.

    Do you think 22 inch are basically dead? These big wheels had a place before suspension but now we have so gut Suspension that these big wheels have more downsides than upsides like bad geometry and lack of general nimbleness

    • @WheelGoodTime
      @WheelGoodTime  8 месяцев назад +1

      The biggest problem big wheels face right now is cost. Batteries are rather expensive so it makes an EUC cost even more. There is definitely a market for these big wheels, and the suspension has improved dramatically with the Master Pro V3. Yes, it's not that nimble, and it's Uber heavy - but the benefit is the ridiculous stability at high speeds, and ridiculous range. I think the Master Pro is a little bit of a niche wheel because of its size, but more big wheels are on the way. I expect a 4500 or 6000wh 168v 22-24 EUC to be announced very soon from Begode 😊

    • @sazzowl_gaming8203
      @sazzowl_gaming8203 8 месяцев назад

      @@WheelGoodTime the reason 22 inch wheels are more expensive is mostly supply and demand and the fact that 22 inch wheels are basically a niche product atm.
      The normal master for example is available for under 2k and if you want an other 2k WH you maybe need to add 1000$ to compensate but because of the low selling numbers of these wheels they are much more expensive.
      And to be fair, if you really need 120mile+range per charge you probably buy a electric motorcycle anyway

    • @WheelGoodTime
      @WheelGoodTime  6 месяцев назад

      I believe the Master Pro begins tilting back super hard at 106v, no matter what your speed is, and you'll be unable to go beyond like 5ish mph doing that. I honestly never let my battery get that low though 😀

    • @ThePawel36
      @ThePawel36 6 месяцев назад

      @@WheelGoodTime I just bought V2 and it started beeps at around 106 as well although it still run. So I'm just curious how long could I run it at that voltage. Would it go to low 100v ?

    • @WheelGoodTime
      @WheelGoodTime  6 месяцев назад +1

      So I just looked it up, and the low power alarm is at 106v. The low power tiltback alarm is at 104v. You might be able to ride it down to that voltage, but it'd have to be ULTRA slow, and beeping at you the entire time.

    • @WheelGoodTime

      The only downgrade is in tire size and therefore a bit of stability. The high pedal height on the Master Pro also plays a role in the reduced stability. But besides that, it's a big upgrade and an outstanding high speed street wheel. 😊

      @@nicholasmilton1902 I think 4800wh is the sweet spot for now for long range riding. If they made these battery cells faster discharge, then you could ride at top speed (55ish mph) all the way down to having a low battery because battery voltage sag wouldn't be an issue. As it stands right now, I can only go top speed when I'm at 80%+ battery. Same is the case for all EUCs that don't have molicel/40T/high discharge rate batteries.

    Did there coder quit?
    I bet nobody can name the coder.
    How did there coding go so wrong in the master pro.
    They should just hire inmotion to code it for them.
    Or hire there old coder to fix it.
    The v13 code id rate 10/ 10.
    Master pro code i rate 1/ 10
    Its not even close.
    Nice wheel other than pathetic garbage coding is my review.
    A 50 dollar airwheel is coded better.

      Sorry to hear that. I have heard more stories of V13's unexpectedly (not overlean/overload) cutting out than Master Pro's, T4s, EX30s and Masters conbined. I definitely recommend you reach out to your vendor to see what the deal is. 😞

    • @WillofNewZealand
      @WillofNewZealand Год назад +1

      @@WheelGoodTime my begode monster v3 has never cut out.
      Wood knocked. . Twice.
      Ive not ridden a master pro nor v13.
      I had not heard of v13 or master pro cut outs, but i take your word for it.
      Besides results its the idea.
      I wont defend a non tilt back coded wheel, because i think the tilt back is the best method ive seen.
      I want tilt back on ever wheel i ride.
      I recommend tilt back as the best coded system currently.
      I think there is no excuses to not put it in.
      The V13 tilt back system as demo by ustride and chooch is the best ive seen.
      Old begode wheels like my mosterv3 tilts back as i would want it to. I can go max to top speed no worries, tilts back at top speed.
      Can sit just on tilt back speed for a long time, hours.
      Saying the master pro is more fun or better range or goes faster does not prove the tilt back code is good or works or that its the best current idea.
      Yes dips work but its a scary ugly system in my opinion.
      Beeps aint enough.
      Ha, my wheel hits full speed then tilts back not a beep heard.
      Eh im just pleased it works.
      So to sum up.
      My opinion.
      V13 tilt back is the best version of the idea of tilting back at max speed. User can choose there max speed up to the max possible.
      I had always thought the max speed should be able to be set for 500 miles per hour and
      If wheel cant go faster due to lack of power then tilt back.
      If i hit my preset max then tilt back.
      If overheat then tilt back.
      If any system failure then tilt back.
      The idea is good in my opinion and for that reason i would want it all wheels i ride and id suggest it for others as my opinion.
      The margin could be worked out by experts, 20% or maybe no less than 10% ...i dont know but a safe number. As safe as possible.
      Code story of whats going to happen to rider should include surviving to ride tomorrow.
      Be safe wheelers.
      If i buy a master pro then i sure want it to tilt me back before considering cutting out.
      I hope the influences push for it.
      Wishing you all nice success be well.
      :) :]
