(March, 2024) - I have the Master Pro V3 - 3rd time is a charm. All metal, 5000w motor, inside a new, blacked-out very strong wheel and a nice (tubeless?) street tire - better all around. Can reach 66mph, but I'll never take it that fast. Begode has gotten their ducks in a row in the past year. So far, no problems with the V3. Still has the cheezy fenders, but they are easily improved with a few cut pieces of 1mm plastic sheeting and 3m adhesive tape. With this "hack" no mud/grit gets into the top compartment where the shock is. I'll likely put in an Ebike fender for the best water/spray protection on any EUC to date. Begode addresses the battery twist with a metal bracket at the back that they calls a "kickstand", but in reality, it's main purpose is additional support and bracing. Interestingly enough, the Master pro is becoming a rare bird, and it's harder to find one, with the V3 being a unicorn. People are favoring lighter wheels, with smaller watt-hour, fast-discharge batteries that charge quickly, such as the Veteran Lynx. The Master Pro is still great for long trips, or sessions of fast riding without worrying so much about low-battery cutouts.
100% agree. I've ridden begode only in 4yrs of riding. Leaperkim left begode for a reason we can now all see. I'm tired of screwing into plastic, refit that end up loo sided, covers that break and on master series STILL parts that fail on first crash. ENOUGH.

Thanks Adam. I'm so glad you're taking a stand on this. I've bought two wheels from Begode.... the Mten3 and the Master. I've had so many problems with the Master and now I'll take a stand with my wallet. No more Begarbage for me.
If you tighten the top clamps too much your suspension won't work because it will squeeze the tubes and they will become oblong and not slide into the bushings
i respect your decision with the begode wheels but i was wondering if you were going to test the s22 pro as it seems like it will be the best wheel for safety just bad range
I think the work load for reviewers when it comes to Begode is high - but for retailers it must be a nightmare. I love my Master and the thought they might not even be available in the future because of retailers reluctance to stock them is not a good one. The onus is very much with Begode.
Well I have Begode T3 and it is awesome wheel, reliable and so practical. But T4 is just fun wheel. The best Begode wheel were the old ones like Nikola, MCM5, Tesla. New ones are crazy prototypes, and for sure many people will enjoy them and make videos :-).
If the prices of Begode drops I would very likely take the advantage and buy. I've had fairly good experience with them. I've even dealt with the factory directly and they were friendly. It helps to live close to them though. Cheap/fast parts/service.
The Master Pro has been on my wishlist mainly because of the huge battery but these safety issues really make me reconsider my decision, I can't thank you enough for these warnings, I will avoid any begode... also the pinned comment sounds so crazy that it sounds a little fake to me, but if it's real my condolences to them, how begode is still in business despite so many dangerous QC issues is crazy to me
No apologies necessary about the makeup, you’re pretty. Some guys wear eyeliner and some eyeshadow. Egyptians did too and history repeats itself. All jokes aside. Very well and informative video, still wish Begode would place safety with their batteries and improve with waterproofing to help increase durability. Definitely something needs to be done about that mudguard. A design from motorcycles would help.
Way to go! The thing that keeps me from buying begode is quality. They are like a machine gun ass shitting out rapid fire turds. Rather than spending sufficient time testing them, they release it. It has problems, then they just release a second version, then a 3rd, etc. Or create another new wheel all together. I tried an Mcm5 v2 and the board fried. When I went to replace it I saw how REALLY JANKY the wiring is (I am a pro in the electric industry) and said NO WAY! THERE IS NO WAY THIS WIRING WOULD PASS ANY LISTING STANDARDS ON THE US. And it considered one of their more "solid" wheels. Btw, the board fried again.
Correct! It’s annoying getting excited about a new release from begode only to hear about issue after issue… I noticed Personal Electric Transport are not ordering any more begode wheels for the same reasons, hopefully others will follow suit and begode will be forced to release a complete/finished and safe wheel…
Hi. It's awesome that you are honest. But sad at the same time because who else will point out all the dangers of the begode a d tell it like it is with all the wheels they have currently?
Thank you so much for your advice on this. So, I am a little confused. What brand do you recommend most? It will be my first unicycle but I have some experience riding vehicles. So, something equivalent to the T4…?
Thanks for the great video showing both the bad and good aspects of the wheel, well mostly bad :D I know batteries are expensive, but $5k is still a shockingly high price for a wheel that is as unrefined as this one. At that price I would expect everything to be perfect, from build quality and safety to performance.
Reminds me of mantis scooter from fluid free ride. Motor bolts sheered off and rim started wobbling while hub was tight, sold it for scrap. Sad to see at this price point
I have had a sherman S for the past 1.5 months and today when I turned it on the wheel decided to hard reset itself. Odometer at zero, all settings gone. Oh yeah and the bearing is shot.
T4 is 99% the same. Things I found sus about master and t4 is how the pedal hanger is mounted to the suspension shaft. You are literally standing on a pedal hanger that is mounted to a 1.5mm thick shaft that is single sided mounted and is about 20mm frow the end of the shaft. How the suspension shaft is mounted to the top of the frame. The brass and graphite bushing vertical length inside the suspension. The tolerance of the bushings and slop the bushings have. How the bushings don't fit well because the way the suspension is mounted to the Axel with bolts that have extreme tight limited space tolerances.
Kingsong burns? Really..... they haven't had any more fires than any other brand. Begode is the brand most known for fires and have had far more than ks
@@denkor.z Someone post video about battery fire and one of the wheel looks like V10. Edit it was random videos on the right side bar, I think it was titled why EUC caught fire or something along that line.
Dang man, I really want the EBCP, but the whole begode quality thing is starting to weigh on me. Come to find out cold sobering has been done on parts of the main board of the EBCP right off the bat, issues with low battery saftey warnings, weird vibrations... they say it's a "production model" but like you said, "ain't no one got time for dat", especially a 4K+ machine! Adam, I have to give you credit for your willingness to take a stand
Thank you for your integrity. Your older video of a teardown of the RS swayed my very recent purchase to the V12 instead of the RS/EX.N. I think I am going to stick with Inmotion and Kingsong. Don't know much about Leaperkim. The S22 and V13 are going to make them wish they tried harder.
preach reverend. I'm also done with Begode until they show a demonstrable improvement in how they make products. They are a ghost company that has zero accountability to their wheels. Ain't nobody got time for that
V2MP is a beast, and corrected most of the gripes in this video. All the wheels coming out have protection fairing/bumper kits. Kinda crazy how people are still buying V1 Begodes and complaining lmao. What did you expect?
The Begode dilemma is very simple : Either riders continue to buy Begode products and finish the work with several hundreds of $, and the brand will carry on bringing the least amount of care on their products (plus they'll continue lying about their care for quality and safety, remember the lie about working with LiTech) Or people just stop buy Begode products, and then they'll either shine by actually caring, or they'll die.
I'm glad you're taking a stance when it comes to Begode. It frustrates me no end how so many content creators and the people they feature on their ride vlogs defend Begode. Marty and his cohorts are just one example. The US market seems to just focus on speed and range and ignoring what should be hand in hand with speed and range... QUALITY & SAFETY!!! I've never and will continue to never own a Begode/Gotway/Extreme Bull wheel till they show real proof that they're changing their build and design philosophy.
Sold my MSP HT for exactly the reasons stated EUC is awesome but l won't be back until quality improves, I'm riding a full Sus emtb it's epic fun without worrying about begode, bring on the emtb haters lol.
Actually understandable and considering that using this form of transportation for everyday riding (work, shopping, leisure) it is easy to accumulate 1000km+ in a month. For 5.000€ I would DEMAND quality and not some garage/test build with cheap plastic, wrong screws, safety hazards etc.
And then I heard that the inmotion CEO talked with Dawn (an euc girl from California) that they are tempted to follow the Begode way of making cheap stuff.. reducing the general quality of future inmotion wheels in order to make more money.. such a stupidity decision (if it's actually true). Begode previously made great wheels, but after the shitty master they continued on this way and I'm not a fan, personally
Begode is what is for me EUC what can be riden in nice days only and not dusty roads. Dont expect any weatherproofing. But still have customers what is ok with this situation ,stop testing begode EUC not help comunity we need know what expect and not from by trusted person. I know 2 peopple who just buy Master pro and both know whats going on they just want long rides in good weather an can park EUC outside house. Me and you looking best price VS efectivity some people prefer one specific parameter. Dont hate to Begode just is what is and people money vote about begode future.
Damn, I fuckin LOVE your brutal honesty Adam. Begode is a low quality company and that HAS to change. Asking over 4 grand for this garbage is ridiculous. They don't care about making a long lasting product. They think if they just make it FAST N POWERFUL that we'll buy it. We have to DEMAND better.
Opening text message - we believe you millions wouldn't :-) Begode charge ports, absolutely. As to Battery condition - I built a charge monitor ruclips.net/video/WE3WUA-M6s8/видео.html that plugs in between the charger and the wheel. My device tells you voltage V, charging current I, charging power W, the number of Wh you have put into the wheel along with some other stats. In this way I would hope to get a heads up on any problem that may develop. I'm 3D printing various bits for my Master, I have upgraded the rear lights, I have a 20l backpack rain cover if I'm caught out in the rain. My wheel failed within a day or so of receiving it new, all repaired under warranty (it's fine now). The suspension geometry on my Master is fine out of the box (v3), I'm 84kg and the shock is at 200lb and isn't hitting top or bottom of the suspension range - they must have attended to this. The stock pads I put on with velcro, I have added an additional pad for braking. You cannot lift the Master by its trolly handle it will break. The tyre on the Master is the CST-186 Knobbly, I had doubts about this through other peoples comments, but it was not as bad as I thought as long as you keep the pressure relatively low (27psi), I have bought the Michelin City Extra Street Tyre which I will fit eventually (well the knobbly is that bad as I said). I must be honest, I agree with everything you say. All those things are true and it isn't good enough by a long way. BUT, BUT, BUT - I do love the Master, the suspension is better than the S18 which I thought was fine, the power (wow), the range 60 miles isn't that difficult, it rides stable, its more nimble than a 20" wheel has a right to be, build quality - I was surprised at how good it was, that construction seems straight forward (OK wiring, boards etc under the skin are a bit homebrew). Its not an unattractive wheel and with the pads (mine included), 3D printed handles, those plastic battery covers are not so exposed. So would I recommend this wheel - absolutely. You need to know what you are getting into, but if I forgot to mention it is priced very reasonably as well. Last thoughts, don't right off Begode quite yet, its the bad guy on the block certainly, but people will still buy them for the reasons I have said. If they could only get their act together as well, they could yet steal the market - time will tell :-)
Well, at least the Master Pro makes a good musical instrument. Seriously though, thanks for showing us this teardown, the Sherman Max is looking better all the time...
@vadix-tv wheels have been out for over 5 years. There's many to choose from. Suspension wheels just took last year and are basically experimenting with a whole new design. Get a wheel that's been out for over 2 years and it has much less moving parts and cost thousands less. There's over 20 wheels made before the S20 came out and everyone expected to be perfect until it exploded. 134v wasn't even a thing until the S20 so what do you expect? If you're the type of kid who always needs the newest sneakers and the newest cars, that shit don't work with wheels and new tech gadgets. The first to buy anything electronic get to be the first real world testers and they're paying to do so. If you want to drop over 4 grand on a wheel that nobody has had for over 6 months, you deserve what you get.

Thanks Adam. I'm so glad you're taking a stand on this. I've bought two wheels from Begode.... the Mten3 and the Master. I've had so many problems with the Master and now I'll take a stand with my wallet. No more Begarbage for me.
@6:03 😂😂😂😂😂😂 that was great ❣❣
My fav part :D
Been done with Begode for a while tbh
Good on u buddy (be true to ur beliefs)!
If you tighten the top clamps too much your suspension won't work because it will squeeze the tubes and they will become oblong and not slide into the bushings
i respect your decision with the begode wheels but i was wondering if you were going to test the s22 pro as it seems like it will be the best wheel for safety just bad range
I think you'd have a bigger impact if you continue to review Begode wheels and slam all the issues. By going quiet nobody is going to know except you.
I think the work load for reviewers when it comes to Begode is high - but for retailers it must be a nightmare. I love my Master and the thought they might not even be available in the future because of retailers reluctance to stock them is not a good one. The onus is very much with Begode.
well, he definitely didn't have any sugar coating to sprinkle on this post ....... appreciated Adam.
Begode Master, 1600 miles. No issues. This wheel blows doors.
If the prices of Begode drops I would very likely take the advantage and buy. I've had fairly good experience with them. I've even dealt with the factory directly and they were friendly. It helps to live close to them though. Cheap/fast parts/service.
The Master Pro has been on my wishlist mainly because of the huge battery
but these safety issues really make me reconsider my decision, I can't thank you enough for these warnings, I will avoid any begode...
also the pinned comment sounds so crazy that it sounds a little fake to me, but if it's real my condolences to them, how begode is still in business despite so many dangerous QC issues is crazy to me
I'm glad you where at a fun costume party
My t4 has been broken since september lol, and its like ewheels gave up on trying to get me parts because of Begode being dificult.
Hi Chooch
Thanks for your video! FYI on the latest version of the charging board on the Master, the ports are not live any more 😊.
You’re welcome! I just heard that after my vid, I will check on that. Thanks!
I am happy with my master pro but it definitely needs more TLC than other wheels
What is TLC?
@@vadix-tv Tender Loving Care
And it really shouldn't
"Why are you the way that you are?"
Had a stator slip on my MSX going 35 and got 2nd degree road rash as a result. That's all it took for me to be done with Begode
Just proves the guy doesn't shower or brush his teeth daily...
Whats your opinion which one u would prefer begode master or s22 pro (4000w)
You are right and more people should be calling them out too, they are good of a company to keep making stuff like this
Thanks for the great video showing both the bad and good aspects of the wheel, well mostly bad :D
I know batteries are expensive, but $5k is still a shockingly high price for a wheel that is as unrefined as this one. At that price I would expect everything to be perfect, from build quality and safety to performance.
Great statement
They just must up their game!
Reminds me of mantis scooter from fluid free ride. Motor bolts sheered off and rim started wobbling while hub was tight, sold it for scrap.
Sad to see at this price point
please reconsider and review the ex30!
What a roast...but at this price point this should not be a thing
Subtitles please!!😉🙌
I have had a sherman S for the past 1.5 months and today when I turned it on the wheel decided to hard reset itself. Odometer at zero, all settings gone. Oh yeah and the bearing is shot.
So what would be equivalent ie price etc ... ?
Latest inmotions are dangerous, begode doesn't have progressive tilt back, kingsong burns..
What should I change my V10F to?
Kingsong burns? Really..... they haven't had any more fires than any other brand. Begode is the brand most known for fires and have had far more than ks
@@electricunipsycho have you heard of inmotion fires?
@@denkor.z I can't think of 1 off the top of my head but I'm sure they have had some.
Ain't nobody got time for that
What would you ride then?
I agree they need improvement but ghost company? They’re actually the only ones active on the fb page
@@noredmx1515 I'm on a ShermanS. I have a Master but it's for sale along with my MTEN4.
Uuh, it looks like a good portion of the heads of screws are beginning to oxidizes. I'd replace them with stainless steel screws before they snap.
V2MP is a beast, and corrected most of the gripes in this video. All the wheels coming out have protection fairing/bumper kits. Kinda crazy how people are still buying V1 Begodes and complaining lmao. What did you expect?
Thanks very much 👍
Right on Adam. Thanks for relaying with your platform what alot of us were thinking
R.I.P. Master Pro…
Have you seen my video of why distributors are not buying wheels before recording? Ahahahah big hugs bro another good video
Aww, you learned to say "this"? I liked it when you said "that".
I think you're going about this the wrong way.
The Begode dilemma is very simple :
Either riders continue to buy Begode products and finish the work with several hundreds of $, and the brand will carry on bringing the least amount of care on their products (plus they'll continue lying about their care for quality and safety, remember the lie about working with LiTech)
Or people just stop buy Begode products, and then they'll either shine by actually caring, or they'll die.
I have a master pro I would like to know the correct reference of the shock absorber so that I can buy it thank you
Well done!
Begode or Gotway....let's just settle on commode.
Hi, you think the same about Begode master? Maybe is better a little? How much km I can make without problems on this?
I wonder about Commander Pro. It looks quality
Hahahaha as if! It looks like they ripped off the Sherman s and it looks like a cheap crap version too.
Nope, the SoCal riders that have one say that it's literally falling apart on its maiden voyage and needs upgrades like the MasPro does
Dawn Champion in CA has a very long list of things that are wrong with Commander Pro.
@@electricunipsycho it doesn't matter if it's better
I'm glad you're taking a stance when it comes to Begode. It frustrates me no end how so many content creators and the people they feature on their ride vlogs defend Begode. Marty and his cohorts are just one example. The US market seems to just focus on speed and range and ignoring what should be hand in hand with speed and range... QUALITY & SAFETY!!!
I've never and will continue to never own a Begode/Gotway/Extreme Bull wheel till they show real proof that they're changing their build and design philosophy.
in half a year begode would of made 20 new wheels 🤣🤣🤣
Sold my MSP HT for exactly the reasons stated EUC is awesome but l won't be back until quality improves, I'm riding a full Sus emtb it's epic fun without worrying about begode, bring on the emtb haters lol.
I love my t4 and my mten4 knock on wood hope they last i got 500 miles on my t4 still going strong just got my mten
Dannnnng. You hurt some people's feelings in the first couple minutes. Lol. Facts are facts.
This is actually a relief to Begode from you😂. 🎉
I will not buy another Begode. My t4 is awesome when it works, but it’s been a headache from the get go.
Should we celebrate Inmotion for improving what you suggest for Begode?
100%. They're not perfect, but we can tell that they're trying
Does this exclusion include Extreme Bull?
Yep, same thing pretty much. Company owned by brother of the Begode owner I think
Seriously though, thanks for showing us this teardown, the Sherman Max is looking better all the time...
close to 4k miles on my max, love it
Easy fix. Stop buying wheels that just came out.
Euc is monopoly’s, not that much to choose
@@vadix-tv definition of monopoly is a single entrepreneur being in total control of the market price of a good or service without any competition. There are over 5 companies producing EUC's.
Awesome video will the hulaj market deliver to the USA 🇺🇸
EUC are rapid prototypes that you get to buy. Show me a wheel that does 60 mph? Ok, none. In America, we ride along with cars and we need a much faster wheels.
Is this new Begode battery case designs better than the old cases???
They're metal but add 10lbs to the total weight
this is all for more clicks, Adam is the first to do a backflip on EUC, he's already backflipped on Gotway before and he'll do it again...
J’ai rien compris est ça m’a l’air intéressant pour ma master pro
What’s the safest wheel out there?
You will be back)
@Wrong Way!
could enable the subtitles (closed captions) of youtube, because I am in another country and it facilitates the automatic subtitles of youtube, thanks.
Sure sure. Sorry I thought it was already on
Would you take commander over this?
Made In China products for semi conductors and anything that follows will be a big issue going forward. We need Made In USA. Coming soon.
This is exactly why I have no interest in Gotway/Begode wheels, they are a very flaky company in my observation.
V12 HT throws people off, begode wheels - bad quality.
Now come kingsong s22 bad improved suspension... And after this you will be in black list of all EUC companies :)
I can’t change reality 🙈😂
😮 it's time to change the name again: GoGode for example! Or Be Way - be or not to be!😅
I have much respect for you and value your opinions and information you provide for us here. I’m sad to see you not reviewing begode wheels, especially since I’m looking at buying an ex30 and was hoping you would provide us with your opinions on it.
I find that you not reviewing them is not helpful. If they are shit products then I’m counting on you to tell me that. It is far more helpful to tell us what’s wrong with these wheels so that we can make our own informed decision.
