do you have any videos on octave changes? with what garageband gives you, it sounds... “artificial” if you will. doesn’t sound crisp and clean like most rap songs that have it
They’re all gonna sound artificial because changing your voice a whole octave is stretching it 12 notes up or down. That’s a long way. Pitch shift is your best bet in GB otherwise you’d need an autotune software and change the notes like wavestune or something.

This is awesome! I just got Logic Pro X, is wavestune unique compared to what Logic Pro offers as far as autotune features? And that melody sounds great Legend.
They are separated already because you’re supposed to selected the plugins at the bottom of that solo vocal track. Which is only applied to that vocal track.
I did go over pretty much everything that I use in this video. The only other stuff is the cutting and drawing tools and all that which is self explanatory. Maybe I’ll do an update if you don’t know how to use them.

Hey Legend! I bought this plugin last night and pressed download for waves tune and it doesn't download, it just sits on a blue bar in safari and doesn't go, which means I cannot access the actual waves autotune plugin cause the application isn't on my Mac
"rewire link cannot be established, please check your settings" is the message im getting when i load up waves tune LT. I cannot find a solution on this problem on GarageBand. please help me!
Thank you for the video! When I open my Waves Tune it always says “ReWire link cannot be established; Please check your settings,” How can I fix that issue? I’ve seen videos on how to fix it on Pro Tools and Logic, but I don’t know how to do it on GarageBand.
Also my wavestune says thay all the time but I pay no attention to it. If you’re having trouble with it tuning, you need to record the vocals, then playback through that same section again of the song so it can register the notes.
For Logic: Go to preferences > audio > devices Set rewire behavior to Live Mode Click apply changes Quit and relaunch. For Garageband: Go to preferences > audio/midi Make sure “enable audio units” checkbox is checked. If you google your problem, there is a page in waves.com that tells you how to reinstall rewire so It works
God super excited when you mentioned wavetunes and saw that you can change the notes, but you never mentioned the price, so I assumed it’s free, and when I checked the website, I couldn’t afford it 😞 guess I just have to keep using the regular built in auto tune.
And if you’re gonna say that’s expensive, just let me say that single plugins from most professional companies will cost you anywhere from $200 all the way to $5000+. $89 for 7 plugins is rather cheap. Roughly $12 per plugin. Antares Autotune Pro plug-in costs $400 by itself...

In garageband? There’s no way that can happen unless you’re selecting a patch with those plugins included for all selected tracks.
