Dr. Van Impe's position on these kinds of things has always been, "IF" this then that. He didn't predict Y2K would would result in anything but simply stated that if the worst was true then it could lead to this or that.

I have looked at other versions only because our pastors use different ones in their preaching. I write the SCRIPTURES down and look them up in my KJV and write down the versions they used and when I get home I check out the difference on GOOGLE. None of them compare to the KING JAMES VERSION It's very frustrating to hear them being used in the church. I pray that people will wise up and complain. I have followed JVI since 1972! I grew in The Lord from his teaching! I heard him say The Angel of the Lord told him he will be the "Last Evangelist on Earth before the Tribulation"! I haven't heard that Jack was taken Home. Is that true?
He had touch a lot of people through his Ministry over the years. I myself also grateful for having him in my home on my television set. This is never a goodbye when a person has lived for God and then passes away. If we also lived for God, then when our time comes like his did, we will see him again and rejoice unto the Lord God.

My friend, read your bible, please, bc im sure you know the verse that at the sound of the last trump the dead in christ will rise and we(church) who are alive will ascend to meet Christ. The dead know nothing, bc like Jesus said, death is but a sleep. King Soloman said the dead know nothing and he was the wisest man to ever live, which was a gift granted to him by God. Why would the believers who have passed away be in heaven and clothed in righteousness, only to be ressurected on earth and ascend back to heaven? God is not a God of confusion. Then we who are living meet them. (Ecclesiastes 12:7, 2nd Corinthians 5:8) (1st Thessalonians 4:16-17) The Bible describes death like sleeping not that it is sleeping the way we do when tired. The bodies are technically asleep until judgment. The righteous and wicked are both judged. The wicked are in hell. Not the lake of fire but in hell awaiting the resurrection for the great white throne judgment. The righteous are in heaven. They have either received their rewards or will at some point before the marriage supper of the lamb. (2nd Corinthians 5:10) If you do a deeper study and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance you will see the error in what you were taught. I'll never understand how anyone can believe doctrines like this when they have access to the word and can learn the truth for themselves.

I just love Jack he was holding a revival at our church and I was nine yrs old and I got saved and we had around twenty saved during that revival and I will never forget him preaching that week he preached on hell and heaven a wonderful preacher and we need more like him today , God bless you and I'm so sorry for the great loss of Jack
For more then 40 years Jack and Rexella taught me what is to come to pass and all is coming to pass as he said ..I prayed that Jack would be alive to go in the rapture, no matter how much pain Jack was in he kept on keeping on..hopefully I will be found worthy to have my name written in the book of life and counted worthy to live with Jesus.

What I would like to say in response is that there are those, who would refer to themselves as Catholic, who love the Lord and believe in His death, burial and resurrection and that He died on the cross for their sins. They ARE followers of Christ. The letter to the church at Thyatira is referencing the Roman Catholic Church, and individuals in that church today. I believe Rome is Mystery Babylon and is the Whore riding the beast, which is controlled by the demonic spirit of Jezebel. Those who "know the depths of Satan" in this church, are told to REPENT or else basically, reference Revelation 2:18-23. However, there are those in this church who do not know the depths of how Satanic that church is, and THEY are told to hold fast until He comes. They are also promised some wonderful things that they, as a part of the Body of Christ, will get to experience during the Millenial Reign and beyond, Reference Revelation 2:24-29. Having said all of that, Jack wasn't perfect, nor did he understand everything perfectly. He saw through that proverbial glass dimly, until last Saturday. Now he understands fully!! So what does this mean for us? It means we offer grace, even to those who interpret things differently and yes, we always strive for truth, while doing this. Is the Roman Catholic Church evil? I believe so. Is Pope Francis evil? I believe he is the False Prophet. But are there those who are Catholic that don't understand the depths of that corruption and evil? Yes, and they will also overcome and will rule the Nations with a rod of iron, alongside their Savior. So strive for truth Brother, but also humbly extend grace. JVI loved the Lord and committed himself to His service for most of his life, alongside his wife. They were in the soul winning business and promulgated sound Biblical doctrine. I believe the Lord challenged him to not ostracize fellow Believers, as he did for many years by refusing to minister in any church other than your fundamental Baptist. Thankfully, he stopped doing that and embraced other denominations, while also exposing the corruption in said denominations, as he understood it. He loved his fellow Believers and so he decided to embrace those in the Catholic faith, who ARE apart of the Body of Chirst, that don't know the depths of that church's corruption at the top. If I'm not mistaken, he also referred to Pope Francis as the False Prophet. Jack was not a decepticon for the RCC. He exposed those who needed to be but also embraced those who do love the Lord and believe on Him as their personal Lord and Savior. May we strive to do the same because none of us see and understand everything perfectly clear, until we SEE our Savior. Then we will know all things, just as Jack does NOW❤

Dr. Van Impe's position on these kinds of things has always been, "IF" this then that. He didn't predict Y2K would would result in anything but simply stated that if the worst was true then it could lead to this or that.

And as stated in 1Timothy 2:3-4: "God our Savior will have all men to be saved and come unto knowledge of the Truth."

For that is the very PURPOSE of TIME. And God CANNOT be limited, no matter how hard you try to limit Him with your false beliefs.
However, the WHEN of your salvation is up to you. Will it be this particular earthly lifetime? Or one thousand lifetimes from now? The choice is yours.

I have looked at other versions only because our pastors use different ones in their preaching. I write the SCRIPTURES down and look them up in my KJV and write down the versions they used and when I get home I check out the difference on GOOGLE. None of them compare to the KING JAMES VERSION It's very frustrating to hear them being used in the church. I pray that people will wise up and complain. I have followed JVI since 1972! I grew in The Lord from his teaching! I heard him say The Angel of the Lord told him he will be the "Last Evangelist on Earth before the Tribulation"! I haven't heard that Jack was taken Home. Is that true?
He had touch a lot of people through his Ministry over the years. I myself also grateful for having him in my home on my television set. This is never a goodbye when a person has lived for God and then passes away. If we also lived for God, then when our time comes like his did, we will see him again and rejoice unto the Lord God.

The Bible describes death like sleeping not that it is sleeping the way we do when tired. The bodies are technically asleep until judgment. The righteous and wicked are both judged. The wicked are in hell. Not the lake of fire but in hell awaiting the resurrection for the great white throne judgment. The righteous are in heaven. They have either received their rewards or will at some point before the marriage supper of the lamb. (2nd Corinthians 5:10)
If you do a deeper study and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance you will see the error in what you were taught. I'll never understand how anyone can believe doctrines like this when they have access to the word and can learn the truth for themselves.

I just love Jack he was holding a revival at our church and I was nine yrs old and I got saved and we had around twenty saved during that revival and I will never forget him preaching that week he preached on hell and heaven a wonderful preacher and we need more like him today , God bless you and I'm so sorry for the great loss of Jack

What I would like to say in response is that there are those, who would refer to themselves as Catholic, who love the Lord and believe in His death, burial and resurrection and that He died on the cross for their sins. They ARE followers of Christ. The letter to the church at Thyatira is referencing the Roman Catholic Church, and individuals in that church today. I believe Rome is Mystery Babylon and is the Whore riding the beast, which is controlled by the demonic spirit of Jezebel. Those who "know the depths of Satan" in this church, are told to REPENT or else basically, reference Revelation 2:18-23. However, there are those in this church who do not know the depths of how Satanic that church is, and THEY are told to hold fast until He comes. They are also promised some wonderful things that they, as a part of the Body of Christ, will get to experience during the Millenial Reign and beyond, Reference Revelation 2:24-29. Having said all of that, Jack wasn't perfect, nor did he understand everything perfectly. He saw through that proverbial glass dimly, until last Saturday. Now he understands fully!! So what does this mean for us? It means we offer grace, even to those who interpret things differently and yes, we always strive for truth, while doing this. Is the Roman Catholic Church evil? I believe so. Is Pope Francis evil? I believe he is the False Prophet. But are there those who are Catholic that don't understand the depths of that corruption and evil? Yes, and they will also overcome and will rule the Nations with a rod of iron, alongside their Savior. So strive for truth Brother, but also humbly extend grace. JVI loved the Lord and committed himself to His service for most of his life, alongside his wife. They were in the soul winning business and promulgated sound Biblical doctrine. I believe the Lord challenged him to not ostracize fellow Believers, as he did for many years by refusing to minister in any church other than your fundamental Baptist. Thankfully, he stopped doing that and embraced other denominations, while also exposing the corruption in said denominations, as he understood it. He loved his fellow Believers and so he decided to embrace those in the Catholic faith, who ARE apart of the Body of Chirst, that don't know the depths of that church's corruption at the top. If I'm not mistaken, he also referred to Pope Francis as the False Prophet. Jack was not a decepticon for the RCC. He exposed those who needed to be but also embraced those who do love the Lord and believe on Him as their personal Lord and Savior. May we strive to do the same because none of us see and understand everything perfectly clear, until we SEE our Savior. Then we will know all things, just as Jack does NOW❤

Praise the Lord for the ministry and the life of Brother Impe . We need more true ministers of the gospel to proclaim the whole gospel and not compromise the word of God . We need to quit playing church and be the church , the body of believers who are blood bought by the blood of the lamb and we need to be about our fathers business and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world.
