I would recommend to play yakuza zero first
Where it all began, the start of legends.
In his summon, Kiryu uses am uppercut possibly from his Rush style, then a Tiger Drop, Then the kick from the cover of Yakuza 1, THEN finishes with essence of the Dragon from 5. Freaking beautiful

8:20 The kanji of the move is "Asura Hyakuretsu Ken", it's translated to Asura Hundred-Rending Fist or Asura Hundred Fist Rush. If you're familiar with Hokuto no Ken and its protagonist Kenshiro, he has the move called Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken which use similar translation.
Oh, that's from Hokuto no Ken? I'll change that translation. Thanks man!

I cannot describe the rage I felt when I saw a chicken as a summon and it ended up not being nugget

Actually the rpg aspect came from Ichiban s imagination. This is not real. Yakuza game is not a realistic game

渡瀬勝 has one of the best summons. Definitely a great representation of who he is. A man who muscled his way to the top.
But 真島吾朗 dominates with his for sure. Very anime-ish
Yeah, 渡瀬勝's summon is one of my favorite! And Majima reminds me of naruto with his running pose
@@gamememories3349 I also have to mention 冴島大河 because his summon is beastly. He was my favorite character in Yakuza 4 and 5. Not just cause he's a powerhouse but because he stood for what's right.

There were two snipers well known. One from Yakuza 3 who was a member of some hitman group called "Avengers" and another for Dead Souls who enjoys to kill zombies....who also had a backstory.

More or less. There were minor characters who had some. Nishki used one to shoot Shintaro. SWAT team used on in 5. You can use a sniper rifle in Dead Souls, but while at it, another Yakuza tried to kill Kiryu in a side quest. Then Baba used one. The only weapons you usually will see are either handguns (Including revolvers) and shotguns. An SMG and Assault rifle slightly uncommon (Only one assault rifle you can have in Dead Souls. The rest are used by scenes. Same goes for the SMG, but two you can have. One in Dead Souls and one in Kiwami 2.) at the very least. Sniper rifles are a rarity. Don't get me started on rocket launchers. Shall I go on any further.
