Yeah it slaps if you're running spell damage and spell crit chance. Problem is I get too aggressive with the shields and have nothing left for the other mechanics lol. Saw blades attack usually ends me.
@@terribletimmy2 It seems like it's bugged, most other shields are capped in some way like the ward of the damned only spawns up to 5 skeletons. The frost barrier just reflects as many hits as you take. Meaning for bosses that spam projectiles or hit a lot, it reflects all of that damage back. It makes quick work of bosses, seen a lot of low level/frail brutal solo kills using it and was wondering why, now I know.
U can easily 100-50% no hit first phase with double barriers: just hug the boss and tank his melee attack with shield. It has enough duration for his full combo and there's enough time between combos to get ur spells ready for that. And just poke him with ur wep in between the combos
Nice i just beat him myself a couple days ago solo on brutal. Insanely tough fight but frost barrier comes in clutch. I never think to bring two shields. Maybe I'll try that as I'm stuck on Adam
a good strategy with Adam at least for the first half for us was use the slicers and circle him while attacking. phase one he essentially didnt hit us at all. second phase is just getting the attack patterns down and making sure you hold the dodge for when hbe jumps in the air to dodge the drop on you.

"Conjures up to 8 frost spikes" Does that mean it can absorb up to 8 hits? I know Chaos Barrier and Ward of the Damned can only soak up 5 hits.
Honestly, idk. It should only work for 8, but when you use it on azariel it seems like it's more.

Apparently you can walk out the arena to heal to full when the fallen angle is there.

judging by his attacks it looks like the condemn shield might work better
It can make his attacks, particularly melee, significantly harder to predict/react to if he targets them
What Jewel are you using on your abilities?
I'm using more PvP jewels here I believe. The best thing for solarus is probably just increased damage

I've been stuck on this boss for days lol...
Very tough boss if you're unfamiliar.
I have dozens of kills on him before brutal came out so that helped a lot
doing this in a bloodcraft server with 70%+ dmg and 40‰+ life, i do nothing to this boss lol
