Health & Medicine on Khan Academy: No organ quite symbolizes love like the heart. One reason may be that your heart helps you live, by moving ~5 liters (1.3 gallons) of blood through almost 100,000 kilometers (62,000 miles) of blood vessels every single minute! It has to do this all day, everyday, without ever taking a vacation! Now that is true love. Learn about how the heart works, how blood flows through the heart, where the blood goes after it leaves the heart, and what your heart is doing when it makes the sound “Lub Dub.”

Update: First, there is a NEW class of anti-viral / anti-influenza medication, called Baloxivir. It works as a cap-dependent endonuclease inhibitor. Second, there is no longer a restriction on starting anti-viral meds within 48 hours (however, ideally it would be as early as possible).

I had gotten sick and was prescribed this. Amazing drug. Half a year later my son got sick bad. Up and down fever bad. Tested positive as well for influenza. Was given this medicine and bam was back to being a normal kid the next day. A Friend at work was coming down with high fever up and down. I had remembered I still had some oseltamivir left. Gave him one told him to rest. Bam came into work like nothing happened. Amazing drug.
I just wanted one about treatment in general-__--

which antivirus for pneumonia viral?
Wish there was something for coronavirus too.
Watching this before 4 hours of Final Exam
I'd takie Tamiflu but I've read that it's controversial, because it can trigger hallucinationa, different states of conciousness, even suicidal attempts, just lika a bad trip after drugs... I don't know how worried should I really be, because different sources present very different opinions... But I decided not to take it, because I suffer from Anxiety and Panic Attacks already, so I'm just too scared :c
is the person writing this on the video left handed ?
As expected, no mention of the only antiviral drugs that matters in this day and age, ie. DRACOs by Dr. Todd Rider
Probably because nothing much has come of DRACO under Dr. Ryder. The drug has been picked up by a startup company Kimer Med.
I don't understand, so if a healthy patient comes to you without having a flu vaccination, how do you explain to them that they receive less treatment than the person who's had the vaccine ?
@steveXracer It shows those without flu vaccine would receive preventive treatment for 1 week vs those having the flu shot, 2 weeks
If they didnt have the vaccine, the treatment would treat that one outbreak, but if they had the vaccine, they wouldn't have to take the meds again if they were re-exposed.
Is it helpful for Corona Virus??, I read one article in India that this is helpful
I was prescribed it for ms fatigue and then my son came down with the flu. They didn't check the type. I did take the amantadine this morning.
What are the names of the anti flu pills or dust? I got the flu, give me the name of the anti viral drug
bacon, them red squiggly lines look like bacon
You don't need an antiviral - it goes away unless you stay at home
