    Nice to see a video that shows layout of the pedals/snare etc, most videos assume you already know that, which wasn't the case!!!

    Thank you. My double pedal didn't come with a user manual or anything like that so I was losing my effing mind trying to get the double pedal to play nice with the snare stand. I did have the shaft on the near side of the snare stand but the screws were getting stuck on the snare stand. So then I tried putting the snare on the other side of the shaft but there was just no humanly possible way to set it up comfortably.

    I like to play wide and bowed out like that too funny a lot of Metal drummers do it it seems you get more push with the bass. You can drive the foot into it more

    is there a way to adjust how far apart the beaters are? mine are too far apart for my edrum kick pad.

    • @drummereub
      @drummereub  11 месяцев назад

      That might be possible depending on what kind of pedal you have.

    seems like the legs on your snare stand are much smaller than the ones on mine. Can you share what size that stand is?

    • @drummereub
      @drummereub  Год назад

      It's just a regular Pearl snare stand. The only ones I've seen with longer legs are made for standing snare height. What kind do you have?

    What are the high hat pedals that open when you push down instead of letting up on the pedal? I think I've seen the trivium drummers do that

    How do I position the hi hat with the left food double bass pedal?

    • @drummereub
      @drummereub  2 года назад

      Just place them as close together as possible, so your foot can quickly move between them.

    great tutorial! just one question, I see you're using the same double bass pedal for your e drum kit like I do. Why is there a second spring? I mean you already have 2 springs on the right pedal, one for each beater, why is there another one on the left pedal? That gives me double spring tension so I would have to loosen both of them to fit them the spring tension of the single right spring which is rlly hard to do..

    • @drummereub
      @drummereub  2 года назад

      Good question! I don't really use the second spring. This is the only double pedal I've ever seen with an extra spring on the left pedal. I assume it's there so you can increase tension on the left pedal, but why? Maybe in case the left pedal lags.

      Because it can be used as a single pedal, the slave pedal even has a beater holder

    Hi. Glad for a fresh video. I've been searching for info on stroke adjustment for the same pedal. It's got adjustment measures on the rocker hub, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to adjust within the smile on the hub or the shaft in the hub? I cannot understand how if the adjustment is within the smile on the hub it remains stationary from the center of gravity within the smile. My kicks keep slapping my shin

    • @drummereub
      @drummereub  3 года назад

      I think I understand what you're saying. It's difficult to explain. The beater angle adjustment is what you need.

  • @evangeloskostakis8071
    @evangeloskostakis8071 3 года назад

    what I don't understand is how do you attach the pedal to the actual kick drum tower

    • @drummereub
      @drummereub  2 года назад +2

      Your pedal should have a clamp with a wing nut that can grip the bottom of your kick tower.
