So, I know I originally said that I wasn't going to include V2 in the update, BUT I did eventually decide I wanted to include it after all. Consider it a bit of a change of heart :)
For anyone reading this and wondering "but Ren! You already uploaded this!", this version is actually slightly different from the original V2! I've taken to calling it "V2.5"; it's the same instruments but with new effects, mixing, and vocals and now in-game for people to play!

I missed Soft Mod. This was one of the first songs I ever played and listened to about 2 years ago, and seeing it being remade feels like your child growing up. I love seeing FNF develop, it feels like I’m proud.

And to add insult to injury, at the result screen, you see her instead of Benjamin. And the only other time you see that image is when you get a failing grade when playing as her.
So that means while Ben had won his battle, she *failed* hers.

As much as I love how the vocals blend in the original V2, this one is also extremely amazing! The vocal slides and bits of riffs are really beautiful. And the ending where they kinda abruptly cut off instead of trailing off like the original? Ugh, FEELS.
I am so happy to see this mod back and tbh It's complicated and week 3 is my favorite one because of the songs but overall I miss this and it's been 2-3 years and now to see this back and new improvements and more for this and others songs too! This was such a nostalgic song to listen to. Even after 2 full years of waiting, we got the remake of a lifetime. This song to this day still holds up for me and always will be like the original. Grace is the character I resonate most with in this mod.
It's Complicated (pun totally intended) to see a game that has has seen better days just reupload the same old stuff and concepts, even if the content is really good, or mods getting canned. And then you see mods getting full updates after how long? And there really good? And a few songs pull at your heartstrings, because that's how much effort went into these songs. It's hard to want to take a break from something when a good modncomes out when your sure the hype is dying down enough to leave.
This song gives me a good memory but this is a sad one
