the spritework for grace in this song is absolutely phenomenal. It really makes you feel bad for her, the fact she's shaking in her idle from how overhwlemed she is by her emotions and trying to hide the fact she's terribly hurt by this turn of events by covering her face in her up-pose, it's genuinely heartbreaking. She's in the same position as ben was, so none of this is her fault and she hardly deserves to anguish she's going through.
It really drives it home, which i really like. Guess there really is a reason this song's the most memorable out the whole mod.
It's even worse when you realize that from the beginning she was thought to know that she will be Ben and seeing that not coming true hurts. Like think about it imagine believing in one thing ever since the beginning and seeing that not becoming true it hurts a lot
You can also see her legs shaking in her right pose, if you look closely! (Before sprite change)
The old sprites weren't that bad, but it's true that the new ones are just the greatest the could have done

@@somerandomoneunfortunately in this mod grace(this mod’s version of gf) was basically a way for the fairest to try to force benjamin(this mod’s bf) to become straight when canonically he is gay is this mod and his parents were trying to force him into the music business instead of a artist(like drawings and paintings)
The Shaking Hand, The new chromatic, The Sprites, everything about this V2 is practically PERFECT, and hit me in the feels
They did such a good job. It even made me feel bad for this song!
And to add the cherry on top, at the end, there is no ranking music and the image is her when you get a failing grade as her.
Ben won his fight, but Grace failed Hers.
This is like getting hit by a truck and then later being used as a floor mat.

Her shaking hand(and her tears) really shows the grief she’s having knowing Ben is leaving her for another person
I mean, Ben never saw Grace as anything more than a friend, so can what Grace is experiencing be considered grief, or just jealousy?

I relate so much with Grace here..and the major upgrades from V1 to V2..vocals, remix, sprite changes, it's MUCH better than before..the whole package really touches your soul, especially if you find yourself in the story..god I cried so much while listening, and seeing Grace's animations change first trying to reach for Ben..then breaking down realizing the truth..Soft Mod is officially my fave mod from all time 😭😭😭
To be honest, that song really hit me in the feels, and that's a lot coming from me..... Heck, even I feel bad....
Seeing the sprites changes with grace and her new vocals. Mix with the song, you can feel her pain and I feel bad for her. 😔
@ZionX06 and to add insult to injury, after you win, the result screen shows her being depressed, which you can only get that if you get a failing grade after playing as her.

It's Complicated has been my favorite FNF song ever since I first heard it, many songs have won my heart as well, but none could top the sheer emotions I've felt first hearing this song..
So seeing this version of the song, Grace falling to her knees as the realization kicks in, the raw emotion in her voice that is topped off with the stellar new chromatic... It's like I'm feeling those emotions once again, it's not just complicated, it's peak.

In the first version of this mod, my opinion on Grace wasn't great, but now on V2, it has me feeling bad for her
somebody better make an animation of ben comforting grace, cause I SWEAR TO GOD she needs a hug ;-;
We come across the duo of Benjamin and Grace singing their hearts out as the latter begins to break down in tears over the loss of who could have been her lover for life if it weren't for complicated situations.

Can't wait to play the mod myself and cry halfway through because of how emotional this song is her trembling the sprite change towards the end and the falling to her knees realizing that ben has chosen pico over her had me in the feel
This song is a HUGE glow-up from V1, but there are just a few *teensy* problems I can find with it. (Go go gadget useless rambling!)
Wanna get the Ups of V2 in here too, so I don’t come off as a rude prick.
First, some sections of the song, (example being where Grace’s sprite changes), sounds SO much better and emotional compared to V1. Grace’s new chromatic also really drives her emotions in this week and I love it!
Second, Grace’s new sprites. The emotions are so much more RAW compared to V1. Her shaking hand in her idle, hiding her face in her up pose, her legs shaking in her right pose. Then her sprite changes when she becomes more desperate for Ben to stay. Reaching out to Ben, clasping her hands, it’s all wonderful.
Third, the addition of Grace’s breakdown at the end really drives her pain at Ben leaving (or- trying to at least). In V1, she just stood there, with a tearful smile, which kinda ruined the sad vibe of V1.
Fourth, the instrumental sounds so much better in V2. The chimes (I think that’s what they are) at the beginning and end of the song are just- *chefs kiss*
But, going on to the cons..
First, Ben looks kinda.. disproportionate compared to Grace. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like updated BF/Pico sprites would’ve looked better for this song. Their size/styles don’t really match well for me.
Second, when the song amps up (or the Grace Sprite Change), Ben can BARELY be heard at times, Grace’s vocals easily overpowering his. Now I know Ben is softer and quieter, and Grace is trying to get him to stay and all that, but like- I wanna hear his vocals..
Third, also when it amps up (or the Grace Sprite Change), the chart is copy paste between sides. I personally liked the V1 version of this section, because Ben and Grace SOMETIMES had the same notes, usually having different (but not mirrored) notes (like Ben having a left note whilst Grace has an up note), really driving that they have conflicting ideas/intentions, but agree on a few things at times (if that even makes sense 💀)
Fourth, and last thing, the stage feels… so empty compared to V1. Like, there was a little crowd of people from other mods in the station. Now it just feels like nobody is there, and it’s just Ben, Grace, and Pico.
Technically, this is the third version of the song. StarrieBlu released the second version a long time ago.
DDTO is still what I think of first, but damn, that’s really good
Tbh, V1 was good but i think in V2 a lot had changed this peculiar song actually has me being emotional for Grace not only does she cry but when the song fades i feel kinda bad after that this week actually hits me for some reason but i do like V2 of the soft mod
