- PFTrack Advanced Object Tracking Tutorial
In this PFTrack Tutorial I show you how to track a 3D object in your scene using Auto Tracks, Image Modeling and Geometry Tracking. You can either track a moving camera with a static object or a static camera with a moving object.

Super-helpful. Thank you. Great tutorial.
Glad it was helpful! :) :)
its a static object.....what is the use of the geometry track?
But you clearly have lens distortion that you didn't deal with first...
perfect nice
tx
YES! FINALLY.
Haha cooool !
thx
no prob
Do you know if this program has been updated with any new features?
for some reason, my box from the modeling image node doesn't track with the object. can someone help?
It's not really object tracking. Just a scene with a static box.
What if bpth my object and camera move ?
If you call this advanced, i do not know what to say.
it seems that pftrack not very good at tracking mp4 footage. I of course converted them into png sequence before hand, I even tried using a proper camera to shoot, but since its mp4 again, so out of luck, barely got the track done, has to be done with auto tracking instead of user track....
Nice tut! Wich version of pftrack do u use?
I think it's 2015
🖤
It's shows a error "Failed to track geometry". Any solution
Nobody ever answers problems in the comments of videos they create. They'd rather say "no probs" to a "Nice Tut".
Iam kinda dissapointed, coz there;s no any "advanced" stuff. Just simple box-object tracking. Its good tutorial tho. Its just when i saw title, i was hoping for some advanced stuff
Great tutorial. Thank you!
