Well here's one more for you: automotive modification. Matt McEntegart wasn't a great artist and didn't know much about computers, but he knew he was good at tricking out average sedans and morphing them into mobile masterpieces. A regular dude with an auto body shop in Tampa, Florida, he never imagined that one of his designs would be used in Warner Brothers and DC Comics' upcoming film, "Suicide Squad."

The problem is the material the body is made of. Fibreglass is horrible to deal with, so ABS would be far better.
The process is more complex but the final result is much better.

@@sssswerth5323 But in the end, if he doesn't have experience within this field big corporations aren't inclined to hire him. Even a degree wont guarantee him a design spot, as in the end its all about industry experience. That's why internships are so important.
Instead of making a replica like most people would, he has designed something of his own. It's like the rx-7 used in Tokyo drift, it's an amazing looking car and the average person would never guess it was an rx-7, this is just as beautiful

For anyone suggesting the car isn't fast enough, I used to have a mk4 supra, it was crazy when i first got it, but then i got used to the speed and acceleration, and wanted to chuck a huge turbo on it, but then i realised that I would eventually get used to that too. Reminded me of the body builders who keep putting on more and more muscle until they look like freaks.
Honestly this car seems like the perfect balance to me - looks great, unique style, fuel and insurance cost must be okay, easy to drive, this guy has found a great balance. Plus, nothing stopping him from increasing the performance if he really wanted to.
And no matter how fast you make your car, there will always be something faster. Much better to maximise the driving experience than speed and acceleration etc.
And here I am putting together a pen and calling myself a pro engineer!

He didn't say because theres a number of motors you can use depending on how much you're willing to spend. I met a guy at a car show you had one of these and he had a Mercedes C63 AMG motor swap in his and he was pushing 577 hp at the wheel wish the Dino papers as proof. I read somewhere researching this car when I first heard about it, there are 8 motor options that come with purchasing the car that range from approx 300-1000 HP depending on just how much you're willing to invest. A truly amazing idea for such a unique ride imo
u can get a engine from bmw 750i with 710hp ;) but its like 10-15k

Compeer Raa the cars he designs might look nice but the amount of engineering and design that goes into a real super car is unbelievable . At speeds up to 400kmph, it needs serve multiple purposes . Protection, lowering drag coefficient, venting air into the engines to be cooled, be light. Not just what looks nice . This purple one doesn't need any of that because I doubt he's ever taking that above 200kmph
When talking about supercars, the looks might just be 20% off the whole car.
But there's separate departments in building a car. He doesn't have to do the WHOLE car, just the design aspect of it, and leave the actual car part of it to experts

Dan Odden Why? All of its mechanics are from the already exciting and well made Infiniti G35 Coupe. Add to that an extremely dynamic body kit and an LS engine and you have made the already great car a supercar.
Agree, the body might starts getting unstable when you try to run like a sportscar or maybe even barely making it to 80 or 90 miles, the design is cool and nice, but I don't think they also thought about and tested the design for aerodynamics of the car, I wouldn't want to drive a vaydor over 80 on the road, after all we don't know how stable it can be with that speed and wind.

He builds it off the chasis of other cars. So theoretically if he managed to configure the aerodynamics, the car should give somewhat identical performance or even slightly better than the original car, like if he replaced a bmw 5 series it should give 5 series performance..

Ruining infinity coupes. I would never let my infiniti go thru this. Look at the frame of the car, do you really trust the rigidity of the car ? No way I would sacrifice an Infiniti and cut everything down to make fake supercar and pay 40 or $50K. If you have an infiniti g35 g37 or q60 and you're unhappy with it and think this new body will make u happy. . Ur wrong u will get sick of attention and explaining to people that it's not a supercars and u payed bunch of money just for looks.

The man had a dream, & then went on to build something one of a kind. He did it to prove a point to himself and everyone else.
He spent the last of his money on it because that’s his business. It was an investment... and in the end it paid off.
He’s making a ton of money off the kits, and he got the car to be featured in a movie.
Sure the car isn’t the fastest, but now he’s making enough money to buy whatever car he wants. In the end, the guy is a real mvp.
