    The photoage from the X90 pro was reasonably good! It was over exposed in some instances but the stability was good and it did an ok job. The crusher looks the business, and gets a lot of things right. That climbing power and those hydraulic brakes do impress! But at 1800 dollars they should have completed the package with better shocks.
    Thank you Sir Chris for the great content as always ✌✌👍

      If I used Pro mode I can see now I could have fixed the color and brightness issues. I jsut used auto mode to make it quick and easy and most people use auto with video on a phone. Still it did well and the EIS was particularly good with the ultrawide shots like a GoPro almost. As for the bike, a lot of power, climbs great but yes overpriced and the rear shock is a "shocker"

    For me the Vivo phone did a much better job than the bike ;-) ...the bike with this specs for this price doesn't catch me.
    But thanks for testing and reviewing it, great and informative like always, Chris 🙂

    You can definitely see the 8K sharpness in the static tripod shots of you and the bike, however, was the first-person-view footage of you riding the bike also in 8K or 4K?

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад +2

      No that was 4K as it needs the EIS. 8k has no EIS and no crop.

    Can I please clear up a few things .
    Kmc is a known brand , they are a huge manufacturer of chains across many industries and are of very good quality .
    The rear suspension , although firm is travelling more than one centimeter , while the shock shows one centimeter , the leverage arm has a ratio arm built in , and at a guess I would think the travel might be 5 centimeters, and possibly more .

    Hey Chris, the Vivo did very well. No problems with sound or video for me. If you hadn't mentioned it most people would have thought you had used a GoPro. Happy to see you review a Cyrusher bike. On Ali Xpress the SMLRO branded ebikes seem to be largely the same bike as the Cyrusher but cheaper. Although they will usually have unbranded motors and brakes. My take on all of these Chinese fat bikes is that they have strong motors and decent brakes but cheap suspension that makes them unsuitable for off road riding. On the other hand, if you wanted to trail ride it, a few hundred dollars spent on an air shock and beefier air forks would greatly improve things. Lastly, how did it compare to the Gogo Best fat bike you reviewed a few months ago? Perhaps a hard tail would be a better safer option in this price range?

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад +1

      Sorry for the delay just saw this comment. I love that Gogo best GF700 dual motor one is so much fun and crazy quick. I'll have more Cyrusher ebikes and others coming in the channel.

    What did you film the Himiway Crusier Review with? Because it looks much better in terms of colours. The biggest problem with smartphone cameras in bright daylight is very fast shutter speed producing an unpleasant video when in motion. Can't have that 180 degree shutter rule. Great review of the bike!

    interesting video with the Vivo! Conventional cameras can't shoot this bright but a smartphone shoots bright while keeping the highlights. Will shoot with this again but with an HDR compatible output file?

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад +2

      I could do it as HDR. If I recorded this in pro mode I would lower the exposure a bit and a few other tweaks which would improve it.

  • @delpinsky
    @delpinsky Год назад

    I really liked the recording with the Vivo! It seems a really good phone, overall. The ebike is interesting. Too bad for the battery drain while climbing. It's really too much for a small (I guess) climb. Clearly some parts of the bike are cheap and we can't expect much from such Chinese brands, but it seems a decent ebike, not a complete garbage.

  • @obarthelemy
    @obarthelemy Год назад

    Close ups are fine, panoramic shots look weird, over-sharpened but less contrasty ? If you usually post-produce, it would have been interesting to see w/ some post-production. I assume people who buy this phone will post-produce at least a bit ?

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад +1

      I just left it all how it came out. But if I was to do this again with the X90 Pro+ I would certainly go for manual pro video mode and later grade the video myself in post. Some shots where just overexposed and odd colors saturation in the sunlight. Then other shots were just fine. Even just using Pro mode with a fixed white balance, tweaked exposure I think it would look a lot better.

  • @shahan1465
    @shahan1465 Год назад +3

    That's so sick that a phone can do that nowadays. Himiways are a great competitor to cyrusher, maybe himiways one upping cyrusher with their new releases

  • @grzegorzhankiewicz9169
    @grzegorzhankiewicz9169 Год назад

    Detail looks fine but some edges in the image look odd, as if they were enhaced too much. A few of the shots looked a bit flat without much range, like when you are talking and the sun is on your face part of it seems completely white. The bokeh effect in the distance felt a bit distracting. Overall perfectly usable, no complains about stabilization.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад +1

      Yeah I agree, many shots were a bit off the odd colour and contrast in the sun. Also some overexposed shots, I think the 8k came out ok, maybe a bit too bright. I think using Pro mode manual settings I could get a much better result and some post editing tweaks.

    just me or is the vivo footage overexposed?

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад +6

      That's the issue with the footage often far too bright and colors are a bit off & washed out. I could have tweaked it editing but left it as is untouched just cropped some bits. The 8k footage had better exposure and colors.

    • @parshakamarsh
      @parshakamarsh Год назад +2

      I agree with you about the brightness, but that should be easily remedied through software updates. Other than that, it's remarkable how good mobile phone footage is getting nowadays

    • @mfg-music5875
      @mfg-music5875 Год назад +3

      @@Techtablets The close up shots are insane, and also, in pro mode you can change exposure, shutter speed, white balance etc, all of that WHILE recording
      so no need for a software update if using the pro mode @atoo7yt490
      Btw, if you woldnt have told me i wouldnt notice it + without the vivo hint in the corner, i would say yeah camera for the bike shots (even the shot where you just stand there has backround blurr) and while you drive i would have said you re using a go pro (maybe not the latest model though)

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад +2

      Yes if I stuck to Pro mode I could have improved the shots, I just used auto. 8K had the best colours and downscaling it from 8k to 4k makes it extra sharp 4k footage. Overall I'm pretty impressed with it, just for this I really should have gone with manual Pro mode for the video footage.
