Serious I'd imagine, he skipped MSQ except base Endwalker so he has barely any knowledge besides that playthrough over 2 years ago.
Also she's really irrelevant compared to the other scions who you see constantly being talked about or show up so often in MSQ. :(

Tbf she's not that great of a character. She can be summed up with "there's this important information I know but I'm just not gonna say anything and pretend everything is fine." She's pretty much just there as a plot device like Lyse and Minfilia were, just with a slightly less cardboard personality than those two.
I grew up in Japan and being stoic is our virtue. A nail that sticks out gets hammered down if you live in Japan.
I think it's fine to assume a lot of high energy at a concert, but this is just folks watching a trailer. Not everyone is going to react like they are on RUclips. This guy has unrealistic expectations for the average person.
@@KGhaleon I mean it wasn't even only the trailer, virtually every reveal was met with claps and as an American we express ourselves unapologetically at times. It's normal for him to have this reaction being in Japan for the first time.

CBU-III are jebaiting masters. The 3rd trailer always has some new part that they never even hinted in the previous trailers. We didn't get so much as a hint of Amanda's vocals until this 3rd trailer. I've had that Pictomancer section running in my head non-stop since Fanfest.
They planted that damn clover earring just to troll us into thinking Green Mage would be the next job. Unbelievable. We can't trust any of their "hints" anymore. Even Yoshi-P's infamous t-shirts can mean be interpreted a million different ways.

Xeno is right, in NA, we blew the ROOF off of Vegas convention Center when we saw the expac trailer.
Then we blew it to the moon when yoshi announced 2 dyes.
Everyone was singing and screaming during the PRIMALS concert too. Everyone singing the chorus of scream has become a core memory of mine.

I don’t get why they were quiet for the trailer but full on energized for the concert and yoship yelling
the audience was most likely requested to not cheer too loud over the music or the voice lines so nothing would get lost in the noise.. it's not zero energy, it's mad discipline to not hinder others xD
I’m a caster main, and wanted Green mage only because it was my last hope for dot mage. I realize now that I was high on copium.
With the new perspective, I’m glad we’re getting picto and not green mage, if those were the only two options. Green mage probably would’ve stepped on white mages toes too much, so picto makes sense from a variety sake.
Glad it’s not geomancer, earth has always been my least favorite of the elements.
Xeno, just so you know, I too played Sith Assassin in SWTOR, and I loved it.
I want to point out that the first trailer we got was like less than half the length of the actual trailer they had to cut out like 3 minutes for Picto alone

The fem rothgar look much better in game then this trailer, she looks like a weird panda mixed with a lemur while the fem rothgar ingame look like a solid, muscular tigress
It's funny how, watching the event, the only time the crowd seemed to react was to the male miqo's updated model. I wish Xeno would've mentioned that and how it was to be in the crowd, cause I swear that was the only moment you heard a genuine loud surprised gasp from everyone. Not judging the JP side or anything, I just thought it really funny when out of all reveals and other updated models, male miqo was the one to break it, haha!

im not a big fan of either song this time but i know i started EW not really liking flow very much so hoping they'll grow on me when they're used to damage my emotions like flow :)

I'm sure it'll set us for the next big bad. Solution 9 is definitely Ancient or Allagan. I just want to know what's going on in that city, as well as what the other 8 solutions were (likely the Ancients ideas for preventing the end of days)
@@ValbrandrLeonhardt Pre-allagan as Allag used the current Eorzean alphabet and the Solution Nine text is the proto-alphabet, which is used on the First and by the Ancients. So its definitely not allag.
@@ValbrandrLeonhardt Wesk Alber made some good points where he mentioned a lot of similarities with the Gaia-Project from FF9 as well as Viper beein the Zidane-Job (again FF9)

There is a big disconnect to what picto looks like in the trailer and how it looks in game. Like it does NOT have colorful, glowing paintbrush effects

The Female Hrothgar being added might not seem like such a big deal since its just another sex option to the average player, but to a role-player?
Ohohoho, That Sh*t's a whole damn expansion to them. There are entire communities and fully dedicated fun clubs of all ranges in FF14, literal RP centres where players are EMPLOYED and payed hourly, in gil, the INGAME CURRENCY, to perform within these clubs. Pole Dancers, ERPers, Straight up butlers and maids, this is a complete business at this point, all of which is fully supported by the devs.

yeah thats just a cultural difference, as a vtuber fan, you can tell the difference with like hololive concerts connect the world had so much more and louder cheering than holofes. it's not a negative thing but i know some people enjoy a western crowd more because they love the roar of the crowd. whereas that might seem disrespectful over there.
Man trailer Pictomancer looks great. Then ingame we get Splatoon Nintendo Switch effects. pepeW Make it textured watercolors like FF6. A much better look and that was SNES. KEKW

I'm just not feeling this trailer.
All of the other trailers were structured a lot better showing off jobs and characters as well.
In this one we have graha eating a taco, Esti making steaks, a squirrelly thing wandering around for comic relief, and Krile with a ham fisted job reveal.
It just seems shallow and cheap compared to what we've seen from SE before.
I love Soken, but this song feels pretty flat for me as well, even with the female vocals.
I get what they're going for and I think the new zones look incredible, but they are capable of so much better trailer wise.
No hate for those that enjoyed it, just not my cup of tea.
Graha's taco was in all of the trailers.
This one also shows Estinien drawing aggro on the godzilla thing, it tries to eat him and then he jumps out of hte way, in the second trailer we only saw him landing the Stardiver, and no part of the fight was shown in T1 iirc.
This also shows the Viper's full fight with Galool Ja Ja, though only a little bit more than trailer 2 did.
Why is Krile revealing the new job "ham fisted" but WoL teasing Viper isnt?

JP fanfest is so much better than the other two that it feels like they intentionally make the others worse.

The music is, for the most part, bad. Like at 3:29 , the music and the tacos moment don't make sense together.
It's very mid. The only cool part is the pictomancer part with the music there (don't care for the rest of the music). I think the overall theme of relaxing and vacation doesn't help make it interesting. There's no intrigue or mystery to spark interest too.
Im very sad the other two trailers changed the timing so that "take it slow and take a BITE" was no longer synced with Graha's taco bite. Only the first trailer synchronized it, and I dont know why theyd change it.
They're still treating lalafells as kids. Krile is older than Alphinaud and Alisaie but she acts like a 6 year old girl here.
Thats just Pictomancer being Pictomancer. Shes in her mid 20s, probably the same age as Y'mhitra (who needs way more screen time!!!! ) but shes also a mom-friend and a scholar, on vacation and learned the ability to make colors come to life in front of her. just havin a good ol time while the other scions are busy... working.
Female hrothgar just doesn't look good. There's no cuteness factor, it's almost alien.
Best part about this trailer was seeing that fem furry looks trash so catgirl is still BiS, no money spent on fantasia once again next expansion. Also Picto looks mid af but I hope it's fun because I genuinely want a new caster to play. Still think it should have been some kind of Time mage with changing GCD speeds throughout its rotation as its main thing though, that just seems like a much more fun idea to me.
Can someone explain to me why Xeno is insisting on calling Pictomancer "Painter"?
Is it because of Lost Ark? Does he want to say that they did it first and now that's the name? Or does he just not like the class? Because I was waiting for his opinion but it's not on this video...

@@cabl7787 lol so wait 5 years also its not a cycle if this was the case we would have got a class for every role. HW was the 1st expac which started the cycle if this is what people are saying then DT should have a class for all 3 roles but no.
