Guys this is fine. The ORIGINAL score is this strange. The Hollywood version removed all the groove and played up to the chipry /R&B tones more than the blues and motown early sound as we hear here. They rewrote like 70% of the score. The Effie is fine. And so is the Deena. And Lorelle

Actually the vocals were good, they are all strong, but the staging and the physical movements and timing brought it down. but the vocals are good, just needs some work on coordinating and acting, etc.
The casting for this is all wrong. Deenas voice should have been a little lower and softer. Lorells voice should have been a little stronger.. And Effie my goodness she should have been a stronger voice with a more open range certainly lower yet higher then the rest but still having more power .....
Cool, I need to post my clips of this scene from the 2007 production... I enjoyed this though.. I just wish Effie had more GRIT to her voice... its almost too pretty.
Some people are like idiots. They didn't know the movie released after Broadway ver. And the Broadway is the original. Did they understand ? Nope.
